If a volcano suddenly exploded, and we were all killed, and belongings destroyed. What wouldn't be destroyed?

I'm not sure what kind of plastics would survive, or if metal would either. Would buildings remain standing or would they be decimated leaving only their foundations for people to find later? I know most of my clothes and belongings would be gone; I'm just not sure if the synthetic and plastic items would be destroyed just as equally as the organic/cotton made compounds.

Any ideas would be great!

I've been on birth control for two weeks (did a sunday start after my last period on July 22). I've read that it starts working immediately.

Example from planned parenthood:

You may start the combination pill at any time. If you start within five days after the start of your period, you are protected against pregnancy right away. You will not need to use a backup method of birth control. That means that if your period starts on a Wednesday morning, you can start the pill up to Monday morning to be protected right away. If you start at any other time during your menstrual cycle, you will be protected from pregnancy after seven days. Use another method of birth control — like a condom, female condom, diaphragm, or sponge — if you have vaginal intercourse during the first week of use.

But I've also heard that it takes at least the first week to first pack to start working.

During the first cycle, contraceptive reliance should not be placed on Aviane (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets) ™ – 28 until an orange tablet has been taken daily for 7 consecutive days. The possibility of ovulation and conception prior to initiation of medication should be considered.

Should i get the morning after pill just in case? I'm really not sure.

My parents have close to perfect credit, and they are cosigning the loan with me. We got a 10.45% interest rate at on bank and an 11% interest rate at another. I have no credit since I just turned 18 and have not had any payments that I've had to make over my high school career. I was planning on taking out $10,000 for the first year, if that has anything to do with the reason maybe?

Yes. Ik tanning isn't good for me. And after this I won't be going again. K. So now I went tanning three times in the past two weeks. I put lotion on afterwards so my skin wouldn't dry out. But now my stomach is itching like crazy. The weird thing is that it's on the places that I didnt burn. Feels like pins and needles. Nothing has helped..I've tried aloe, different kinds of lotion, cold showers, benadryl (which helped a little) calomine, antihistamine creams. Everything! If neone has ne ideas as what the cause of this is or how to fix it, I would sincerely appreciate it.

I'm a sixteen year old girl. My room's in the basement w/o windows. four walls with one that has two closets. I've got a queen size bed and a rather large desk. Right now my room's bright (and i mean bright!!) green.

I was thinking a blue and yellow to alternate walls. but idk what else to do.

any other paint suggestions and decorating ideas would be greatly appreciated.

why in the world would he even propose this bill? if anyone can explain to me what kind of political move this is then please do so. he is basicaly trying to dissolve the unions; giving them absolutely no bargaining power whatsoever! if he would have done this behind closed doors and maybe used some PR things could have been different. but having the national guard on standby because he was afraid of riots?! what the heck?!

She's an eight year old female golden retriever who has hair loss on her stomach, genital areas, lower and bottom tail area, and severe on her legs. She also has black crusty spots on the same areas. She also has an obesity problem (her current weight is around 120 lbs) which, even after the addition of a puppy to our household two years ago, has gotten worse. She has been treated for allergies which help a little but do not even come close to curing her. She has been tested for thyroid issues but those tests came back normal. The other option vets keep coming back to is mange, which we don't believe is possible because of the three other animals living in our house that have showed none of the same symptoms.

Any suggestions would help.

The unlimited texting is only ten dollars more a month than what I have now. I have the money to pay for it but they believe that I can talk on the phone to whoever i need to text so much. I have straight A's in school, have never gotten in any sort of trouble, and haven't gone over my texting ever. I even offered to take this as my birthday present since my birthday is in a couple weeks.

My dad refuses to even listen to me but I think I can get my mom to convince him otherwise.

I have a mucus producing cough, a stuffy nose, and a sore throat. My usual temperature is arould 97.8 and right now it is down to 96.4. I've searched the web and found nothing with these symptoms.

Idk if this is important but i've been sick for 6 days, have already had swine flu this year, and I usually get either pneumonia and/or bronchitis every year

She is a one year old puppy who believes that she is more dominant than her seven year old "sister." the puppy hits her butt up against the older dogs face; while doing this the hair on the puppy's back raises. We just recently got her fixed and have tried to force her to let even us be the dominant but nothing is working.

Any ideas would help

My family owns a black lab. I'm a teen and wondering if she's having puppies. She was in heat right before we went on vacation; my mom told the kennel to keep her away from other dogs because of this. After she got back home, she's been stealing things off of the counter, (which is very unusual and only started after being kenneled) sleeping a lot, and having to go outside a lot more. She just stole & ate THREE WHOLE chicken breasts off of the counter (the only possible way that she could have done that was to climb onto the counter!!)

Is there anything I can look for??

I'm a softball pitcher in high school. Recently I have started going to get professional-ish help for pitching in the past month. Before this help I was throwing one out of every three balls would be strikes at least. Now all I do is think about when I'm letting go of the ball, if my wrist is still stretched back into the "loaded" position, which way I'm facing at every single moment, what my feet are doing...etc. While doing the previous, I lose my accuracy; instead of throwing close to every other pitch a strike, it's one in thirty. I try to go back to my original pitching, but I can't. If any body's got any ideas, I'd really appreciate it!!

At our school, the Juniors host the prom but the whole school can go to it.

Softball starts in less than a month, and I just found out that my old softball glove was eaten by little critters in my garage. I need an affective glove because I'm going to be pitching and out-fielding.
