  • Waxing problems..?

Okay my best friend and I bought Nair Soothing Wax Kit.

Aside from being the farthest thing from 'soothing' it didn't do anything. It's our first time waxing and we followed the directions, but we're not sure if we did something wrong. Does this product usually work? We want to try again, but would like some actual results this time... any advice or recommendations?

    Thanks!

  • Infected ear.. ?

I got it pierced about a week ago and I'm pretty sure it's infected. I know about rubbing alcohol and having clean hands and such, but does anyone have any extra tips?

Also, I have a pool and swim a lot. Is the chlorine helpful or harmful? Should I tone down the swimming?

  • How do I make a rotting piece of log not smell?

For my church's mission trip, we all give each other gifts at the end. This year, my team cut down a huge tree, and I got a slice of a log to keep with a note on it from my leaders. The tree was already rotting, and it now smells horrible. I already tried to Febreeze it, and it didn't work.

Any ideas? I really don't want to throw it away. It's sentimental.

  • How do I get my scars to stay?

This is kinda weird, cuz everyone else is obsessed with getting their scars to disappear, but I have 5 surgical scars, and I love them all. They remind me that I am tough, and the first two I got remind me simply of how lucky I am to be alive.

I got my second 3 two weeks ago, and I want to make sure they don't disappear. Because they're surgical, they won't, right? If there is the possibility they will, are there any tips to make sure they don't?

  • Stephanie Pratt's hair?

I couldn't decide between Celebrities and Beauty for this one... But here goes..

I really liked it in the today's newest Hills episode (April 28th).

I'm getting my hair cut this Wednesday and really liked her bangs so I was going to get a picture of it to bring to my hairstylist, but can't find one on Google or Perez Hilton. Does anyone know where else I could find one?

    Links could be helpful.

    Thanks!

  • I want to dye my hair blonde. Help?

OK, it's currently a medium brown color, which is natural.

For this summer, I want it blonde. As blonde as I can get, which will be a little tough, because my hair's pretty dark. The thing is, I don't want it to be permanent. I was looking at Clairol Natural Instincts, but I'm afraid that it won't work because it it to 'enhance natural color'. Will it be able to drastically change the color? Or is there another dye that could work better? I also would really like it to come all the way out. I have beautiful natural highlights that I love, and I would hate to kill them with dye.

Is there anyway to do this?

    Thanks!

  • How do I get a glass wine glass not foggy?

They are all perfectly clear except one, which has a foggy appearance. I tried soaking it in vinegar, but it doesn't seem to be working.

    What else can I do?

  • How do you say "I went jet skiing" in Spanish?

Haha sorry, I am doing a paper about my Spring Break for spanish class and I know how to say 'I went', but just not jetskiing. And it didn't have it in the online dictionary. Do I just want to say "Monte los jet skis"?

    .... Thanks in advance! :)

  • I'm stupid with puffy paint... any help?

I was puffy painting a poncho for my spanish class and long story short, I was stupid and neon pink puffy paint got smeared on my red cloth Coach.... Unfortunately I did not notice until the next morning so it was nice and hardened. :( My mother will kill me if she finds out.

I've been picking at it with my fingernails all day, which has helped, and I read some crazy stuff with vinegar and Goo-Gone, but I'm kind of nervous as that could further ruin the bag...

Any ideas to get it off? It's not really soaked in too much but is more of a very thin smear about a centemeter wide on the side of my bag.

I would love any help with the matter...

    Thanks!
