Why are gamers so hateful?
Take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7Qm9BJlOCY
The top comments are filled with thumbs up and the comments themselves just espouse hatred for a game that looks genuinely good. Even great. I've seen this a lot with other franchises like Crash Bandicoot (specifically Crash of the Titans and Crash Mind Over Mutant), Sonic the Hedgehog (From Sonic Heroes to Sonic and the Black Knight) and Spyro the Dragon (Legend of Spyro onwards). Gamers hate every type of change to any franchise solely out of nostalgia or loyalty to the original formula without ever giving a new idea/formula/innovation/character/whatever a chance. Why does this happen? Why is it so hard for people to be open-minded to new ideas?
6 AnswersVideo & Online Games10 years agoCost of Replacing a thermostat for an A/C unit is too much....?
Can any one tell me if this is fair. The air flow was coming out from the fan but the a/c unit outside the house did not go on. This service man had installed it 3 years ago so I called him. He came out and worked on the A/C and charged $220 for getting the air working but only worked for one day. He came back and without letting me know there was going to be a second service charge, he worked on it and within 1/2 hour he figured it out and replaced the thermostat. New charge is $240 a total of $460 to get it running. I don't think he has enough experience to know that it was the thermostat from the start. He seems to be learning and I don't think I should have to pay for his learning lessons.
He argues that he did a diagnostic check the two times and there were 2 different problems. All this was within a week of his first repair. Another thing, why is he is asking me to make a check out to his name and not the company?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow can lemons be preserved but not for eating?
I have a friend that found a rare shaped lemon, wants to preserve it and not for consumption.
Glycerin, formaldehyde, wax or any other suggestions/ideas, and what's best to keep it looking fresh. Thanks.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agoI am a Landlord, if one person wants to move out, do I write a new rental agreement?
When I rented a house out, I ran a credit check on the daughter and the lease was signed by both mother and daughter. They have been paying rent on time for 1 1/2 years. I believe the mother has no green card, now the daughter wants to move out, and she wants to be removed from the rental agreement. Do I write a new rental agreement? Or, what is the best way to check on the mother's credit? What if there is another person moving in?
