Hi, I've been experiencing a sweet taste in my mouth for the past week that doesn't go away. It kinda tastes like one of those artificial sweeteners (splenda, sweet n low, etc). Yes, I have a program set up to lose fat and have been following the plan for a bit over a year now, but never experience this till now. Since coming home from school, I haven't been following my fat loss program strictly, but just watching out for what I eat (nor have I been tracking my calories). I consume a lot of vegetables, I weight train (heavy), drink a lot of water (sometimes I'll have a protein shake), and eat meat like chicken and beef. I've also been going to the bathroom a lot. I did some research on my own and they say it can be caused by ketosis, but I'm not 100% sure. Please let me know. Thanks!!

BTW, I'm 5'8.5" and 126 or 127 pounds (female). Approximately 22% body fat and wanna get down to 18%.

Hi, I'm 22, 5'8.5", and currently weigh 128lbs (female). I've been on a diet and weight training program to get some muscle definition/toned physique. To do so, I was recommended to drop more body fat by restricting my daily caloric intake to 1435 daily and boosting my daily protein intake to 1 gram per body weight. I've been doing all of this. A month ago, I definitely felt the changes I was making to my body and was hungry all the time (especially during the night). I'm starting to see some definition in my abdominal area, but lately for the past three weeks, I'm not feeling hungry any more. I'm still sticking to my diet plan as usual, but I find myself not so desperate for food lately. What is that telling me? Do I need to do anything/change my plan a bit?

I train 6x a week (2 hours a day at the gym with alternating days for upper and lower body). There are some remaining body fat in belly area that I'd like to lose, but I'm kind of stuck right now, because I don't know what else I need to do. I understand dropping body weight/fat is not going to automatically get me the fit/toned physique I'm looking for, but what else do I need to do? For those of you who are fitness freaks, please help me answer these questions I have. Thanks!!

Hi, I don't know if any of you is experiencing the same problems, because it's getting extremely extremely FRUSTRATING. But it took me forever to register for Obamacare online, because of all the problems with the website. After finishing the online application and clicking on the submit button, a warning screen pops up saying the website is down. This happened repetitively and it took me months to solve after numerous calls to the Obamacare hotline. Ok, now that I'm registered, I'm looking to enroll into an insurance plan via the Health Insurance Marketplace, and here is where my problem starts again. I called both Obamacare and Health Insurance Marketplace, but they are both telling me different things. Obamacare says that I need to contact my insurance company and ask to enroll by giving them all my information. However, when I called up HIM, they tell me that they need to receive all my information directly from the government in order to process the enrollment. I called back Obamacare and told them what HIM told me, but they tell me the government can't disclose my information to insurance companies and it's not their responsibility to send my info to insurance companies. HIM comes back telling me that they absolutely need to have information directly from the government. Thus, here I am stuck between a standstill, because of incompetency and unwillingness to cooperate on both sides. In addition, there has been numerous delays in the mandatory email confirmations I was suppose to receive from both parties. They all say they've sent it to me, but I've been checking my email repetitively and have received none. HIM claimed they sent an confirmation email to me in November, but I've only received it today. Again, I've been calling them for months now and I'm stuck unable to enroll. If any of you can help and tell me what I should do, please let me know!! I'm getting very frustrated!!!! Thanks.

So, I was at Banana Republic today and the store was playing the holiday classic "sleigh ride." It was definitely a cover/remix, but filled with soul/R&B/jazz sung by I think Ella Fitzgerald (again, im not sure it its 100% her, but it sounded like her). All I can remember clearly (cuz I got to the store late and this song was coming to an end) was at the end she was repeating "it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you" several times, and during the gaps of each repetition was trumpet playing in a soul/R&B/jazzy way. Can anyone identify who did this song cuz i really like it. Thanks!

I'm buying an xbox 360 as a present to my brother. I know nothing about games and consoles so I did a little research on Amazon and it showed up with 2 choices: 4gb and 250gb. my brother has a playstation with 160 gb. so, i don't understand how a xbox can only have 4gb. if he only uses it for games, which one should i get? thanks

This girl I have to work with is angry, rude, and bitter all the time!! I mean, life is already hard, I'd appreciate it if she didn't go around spreading more negativity to ruin other people's day because she has issues. I've heard she's got problems with her parents and stuff, but that's not other people's problem. Nobody I know likes her and I hate how she tells people that they are mean and rude to her!! C'mon! The reason why no one likes her is because of the attitude she treats other people with in the firsts place! I honestly ignore her, but when I'm forced to interact with her, she answers my questions in a very rude manner in front of other people, which makes me look like a fool when I was being perfectly polite. She's got no kind words for anybody but a very very selective few. I'm trying to deal with her the best I can, but every time I see her I just get really angry about the way she mistreats others with her nasty, uncalled for, rude attitude!!!! Someone please decipher for me what's up with this lady!!!! Thanks!!

Hi, I've been studying for the FAR for the past 3 weeks and I'm on F2. I feel comfortable with the material I learned from F1, but I completely underestimated F2. I view each mini lecture and do the homework problems. The first set of mini homework questions has 99 questions. I literally sat in the kitchen table and did them all day, but only managed to get half done by the end of the night! I'm getting extremely frustrated at myself. And frankly I don't think Becker covered all the material you need to know to answer the homework problems. Again, I'm getting really angry and frustrated!! I keep hitting the score around mid-50s to low-60s, it just feels like I'm failing at this and all the 4 years I spent at school studying for accounting was a waste. Someone! Please give me some tips and share your past experience studying for the CPA, especially the FAR! Thanks!

I'm currently using the self-study material to study for the FAR (I have the 2013 edition). I started, but I'm unsure about the effectiveness or the efficiency of the way I'm studying for this. Basically, I've been first reading over each section and then I watch the lecture video for that section while following the textbook material. After finishing each section, I would do the homework. So, is this enough to study for the FAR? I feel it's not enough, do you guys recommend memorizing the information they go over with you on the lecture videos? Any study tips on how I should do this? I'm an incoming senior at a college majoring in accounting and finance. i will definitely be doing the fifth year in order to sit for my cpa. over the summer, i'm interning with a prestigious accounting firm in nyc, but has a strong interest in finance. I want to maybe get into private banking, or anything in the realm of asset management. i was wondering if any of you familiar with the industry can give me some good advice. would the fact that i will stay an extra year for my cpa be an impediment to getting into finance? thanks

so let's say that i filed a provisional patent app and a nonprovisional patent app for two separate inventions, both of which are labeled as patent pending. assuming that if i sell them while awaiting finalization, i would get long-term capital gain treatment on them. but if they are finalized, would my previous sales that originally qualified for the long-term capital gain treatment still be effective?? thank you

My mom and I signed one contract with AT&T for two 3g iphones (note: not 3gs). Now the two-year contract deal is going to expire soon in August. My mom wants to get an upgrade from our current iphones to iphone 4g. is this possible? if so, do we need to sign a brand new contract with at&t? and do we have to get his done at an iphone store? details on the process would be greatly appreciated. thanks
