if gravity is 1 on the surface what is it at the center?

I was just trying to get a feel of the concept? Can any give a short,laymen discription? Thanks!

Actually just far enough down to hit a hot spot & make geothermo electricity? I KNOW I aint that smart to be the 1st to think of this so why not? They have diamond & gold mines in south africa that go down miles.Or maybe tap into the hot spots near the top,likr Ice landers? We got Yellowstone, & volcanoes.So comon u engineers, what gives?

Since mass causes gravity,What would something weigh if it is in the center of the mass? Say the center of the earth? If we could drill a hole to the center of the earth & put an object weighing 200 lbs (sea level) what would it weight at the center of the earth?

According to the equation e=mc2 which says mass can be turned in to energy. i.e. the bomb, nuclear reactors,the sun etc...According to the 2nd law of thermo dynamics Matter can neither be created nor distroyed,only changed forms....So what happens to the energy we CREATE? thru nuclear reactions!

Im confused, I was taught that spheres dont have fronts, backs, tops, bottoms conners, etc.THERE ROUND! So how did the earth get a top and bottom? And dont tell me its magnetic, because there is a magnetic south pole at the bottom!

I mean we dont have an extension cord that long and the rich people made it all in hollywood! Then they all spent up the tax dollars that were supposed to make it happen! A giant Ponzi scheme!

I understand we as a country nave huge amounts of natural gas. So why not require the gas cos. to extend the pipe lines, same as we did with the electrical cos. (REA). Around here the gas co.s are putting in for rate decreases, instead of that require them to put in more pipes. its cleaner & more effecent than oil, and more usefufl. Wadda ya think?(dont get me started on cars).

I mean if it is of any worth other people will learn of it, & at least part of its value will be lost to you(i.e. a gold mine)or use it against you(i.e. the atom bomb)
