  • Will my warrant officer packet still get picked up if I'm now DA selected for recruiting?

    My husband is a Staff sgt. in the Army of 7 years, and has been trying to put his warrant officer packet in for over 2. He now has his packet ready to submit to the May board. The problem is that he was DA selected for recruiting... Does his packet stand a chance of getting picked up (with DA selection for recruiting on his erb)? And if it is picked up, will the W orders delete the recruiting? Is there a way for his Battery Commander to cancel recruiting orders? Is there anything that branch can do? How can we be sure that his career will progress in the direction of Warrant officer and not recruiter?
