We bought a year old home that had a Culligan Water softener installed only it was brought by the sellers from their previous home so its 7 years old. It requires service to the tune of $800 bit for that price I can buy a new Kenmore and have it installed. I know Culligan is more expensive and supposedly better but I think a $4000 system should not require $800 worth of work when I can buy a Kenmore for the same price and I have no issue if I have to replace it in 5 years

So is Culligan that much better (or any big brand) than store brands such as Kenmore, GE etc?

I am trying to figure out a formula for an excel sheet.

Using an example of the rows and columns , the formula I would need is as follows:

The contents of the line would equal all the totals of the column added together and divided by the total number of entries, for example 30 c would equal c 2 thru 29 added together and divided by 27...can you help?

We have had a raccoon problem in the last few months...they are getting more and more destructive, digging up plants, creating large holes and moving rock borders.

We have seens three huge raccoons late at night, and tried leaving the lights on to deter them, we do not own a dog so have nothing to scare them off, we do not leave trash out...but nothing works and we are fed up with having to redo the landscaping each day!!

Any suggestions?
