2007 Grand Caravan AC Failure/Check Engine Light?
I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan with 144k miles on it. About two weeks ago, the air conditioning crapped out. I thought it was the compressor, given that a mechanic told me about two years ago that it was on its way out. I have not done anything to fix it except for a recharge, which made the air cold for about a day then immediately stopped working again. A few days ago, my Check Engine light came on. I looked at the codes and I got a P0645, the code for a faulty AC clutch relay control circuit. I have a few questions:
a) Are the Check Engine light and the AC failure related?
b) Is this a problem I could fix myself?
c) How much will it cost?
Thanks!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoReplace a regular cell phone with a BlackBerry?
My dad just got an iPhone and plans to get rid of his old BlackBerry. I was interested in using that as my phone instead of my current phone, a Samsung Brightside. For those who don't know, a Samsung Brightside operates in much the same way as a normal, non-smartphone. I understand BlackBerry uses their own network. Will this interfere with changing the service over from the Brightside to the BlackBerry? Are there any extra costs involved? Thanks in advance!
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans8 years agoSAE30 vs SAE20W-40 oil?
I have a 1974 Suzuki TC 185 dirt bike. It says to put 750cc of SAE 20W-40 into the crankcase. However, after the last oil change, I accidentally filled it with SAE30. I haven't ran it since, as it has other issues which need addressing as well. Will running it with SAE30 in the crankcase cause significant damage to the transmission or can I just use it for this season and change it next year?
Thanks in advance!

I have a Toro Recycler GTS2 6.0 horsepower and I am about to change the oil. Does it have an oil filter that needs to be changed as well or not?
Thanks!
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoDrum Major Audition Piece?
I'm auditioning to be the drum major for my high school band. Auditions are in about a month, so I have some time to practice. Anyone got any suggestions for a good audition piece? My band director is looking for something with key changes (not just between 4/4 and 2/4) and tempo changes.
Thanks in advance!

3 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology8 years agoJump starting a car with a battery charger?
I drive a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8, if it makes any difference. Recently, my car's battery completely died because 1) the battery was already starting to go flat and 2) the door was left open. I tried to start it; the starter motor clicked but the engine didn't fire. I tried jumping it with my neighbor's car, a 2008 Subaru Forester, to no avail. I left it charging for an hour at 6 amps and it started right up. My battery charger has 3 settings: 6V 6A, 12V 2A, and 12V 6A. Would it have been possible to jump start it with the charger on the maximum setting of 12V 6A? If so, how would I do it? Thanks!
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoDriving to Pennsylvania with a learner's permit?
Every Christmas, my family and I drive to Pennsylvania from Massachusetts. I just got my Massachusetts learner's permit and we go through Connecticut, New York (but not through the city, I know that is illegal), New Jersey, and of course arriving in Pennsylvania. I am thinking about driving this year. Do any of these states prohibit out-of-state learner's permits? BTW passengers include my mom, dad, and younger brother. I am having trouble finding current information; only answer with current information please! Don't want to get my permit stripped!
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation8 years agoUSB not recognized after deleting label partition?
Let me start off by saying that I am not a computer expert by any means. Basically what happened is I installed Chromium onto a USB drive and did the imaging or whatever and it turned my 4GB USB into a 0.99 GB USB. Then, I went to Disk Management and started disabling partitions to hopefully get more unallocated space. What a dumb idea that was. I accidentally deleted the partition containing the device label. Now, when I put the USB into my computer, it makes the USB in noise and is visible in my disk management, but not visible in My Computer. My disk management looks like this: https://www.box.com/s/bfocuo0grma3fr2zcd85
PLEASE HELP!!!

In Massachusetts, do you need to schedule a learner's permit test ahead of time or do you just walk in and take it?
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration9 years agoWhat is a pinion seal?
I am looking into buying a Ford Ranger pickup truck. I found one and was reading reliability ratings about it. I noticed that one of the problems, listed under the "Transmission and Driveline" section, is the failure of the pinion seals. I can't seem to figure out what these are. Does anyone know?
