What are good dinner meals for a 1 1/2 year old? We usually give her what we have for dinner Im just looking for some new easy meals, I work 8-5 & start cooking 5:30, Trying for under 40 mins.. By the time I get home the little one is Ready for Dinner !

I cant put the cake in the fridge but I want something thats going to be a little stiff to work with rather then too creamy & runny.. Its for my daughters first birthday cake.. (Something I can buy at the store ?) (Or would I be better mixing like a baking frosting like pilsbury with a wilton frosting which is VERY stiff. ??

Im hoping someone that may make cakes can help point me in the right direction.

For my daughters first birthday I am going to attempt to make a two tier cake. I spoke to someone who said I need to put some dowels in the bottom tier so it does not sink, along with card board between the first & second layer..

When I make the bottom & the top cake do I make just 1 cake or do I need to make 2 each to layer ?

Im hoping to do the base 16" or 12" & a smaller one on top, the question I have is how much mix do I use Should I just buy several boxes of cake mix ?

As far as the frosting the Fondue looks great but I think its too much for starters. So should I go with a mix of regular frosting & the stiffer Wilton frosting mix ? ?

& Also how many days can I make / Frost the cake ahead of the party ?? Or should I make the day before & frost the day before or that morning ??

Yes I know I could buy one but I do not want to buy one I want to make it myself.

What did you get for your child for a gift for when they turned 1 ?

At this age its not so much that she will know what shes getting but I dont want to not get her anything.. I just was trying to think, the main thing is anytime she needs anything I get it for her, clothes, shoes, toys.. She has everything she needs.. ??

We were thinking about going to maybe the Bahamas in the Winter our daughter will be about 14 mths then.

Do you need a carseat in the plane ? Do they have them in the cabs when you get to the airport ? How does it work for a Passport for a child/infant? Would a hotel have a Crib or other type of bed to rent for the baby ?

Or is this just a bad idea?

If 2 people have a joint checking account, and 1 person spends most of the money. 2+ years later now the other person wants that money back is the one who spent it liable to pay the other person ?

I need some help for meal ideas & suggestions for a 9 month old. Since she was able to eat foods I made her baby food from scratch. Now shes eatting about 2-3 meals a day but I was preparing foods for 1 week, I think Id like to mix it up a bit. She is starting to eat the foods we eat, Does anyone have any suggestions on what to feed her for meals ? I dont always like giving her the same dinner for 5 days, I know I would get sick of it & Im sure she does too !

Im 27, I would like to buy a house to use my rent amount towards a morgage rather then paying money out just to live not going towards anything..

My Credit is Not good, when I was younger 18 I had gotten credit cards and years later paid off after they were in collections. Ive been renting for 3 years from the apt I live in now, my rent (I rent from my uncle) $1000 mthly has never been even 1 day late. 2 yrs prior to that I rented from my ex-husbands father who again was never late but not on good terms with. I have NO credit Cards, I can not get approved even if I applied. But I have NO outstanding debt except a few medical bills and 2 prior things which Im going to pay off this year. How do I fix it going forward ?? Where do I start ?
