  • Fun Cat Genetics Question?

The pregnant stray cat I took in a while back had her kittens a week ago today. All are doing very well (and mum will be being spayed...)

Mum is a tuxedo marked black and white cat. Her kittens are a tabby boy, two black boys and a tortie girl. I know tortie's dad has to be a ginger/red cat. But if I've got it right, tabby must have a tabby dad? And the blacks could have the same dad as either of the others (or other dads!). Have I got that right: at least two dads involved?

  • Is it just me, or is my cat question not showing up for other people?

I can see it, but it doesn't seem to be listed and no-one's answered. Can other folks see it?

    Here's the link: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ams1J...

    Thanks!

  • Help with wines please...?

Over the years I've been given a few bottles of wine, which have ended up sitting unused. I'm not a drinker myself, so wouldn't get through a full bottle before it goes off, but when I've had a party or something, I've not taken one of these bottles as I don't know if they are OK, and would hate to give someone vinegar...

I'd be grateful if any experts would tell me if they are likely to be already vinegar, how long I can store them, and what sort of quality they are (cooking, drunken party, nice dinner party or special occasion?).

Odessos Steppe Saperavi & Cabernet Sauvignon, Ukrainian Red, not dated but will be around 1994

German Hock medium white wine (blend from along the Rhine), 1994

Lambrusco Bianco Dell'emilia, (not dated, does say consume in 3 months and also probably 1994!)

Bucks Fizz, also around 1994 and looks a bit brown so I think I can guess the answer...

Bordeaux Blanc Dry 1994 (says within 6 months... duh)

Champagne Pommery Brut Royal, can't see a date but I got given it recently...

    Lindemans Australian Merlot, 2006

I guess most of that is truly vinegar, but would appreciate advice on what might be salvagable, and how long I can keep the newer stuff!

  • Questions about cats claws...?

Is it just me or do they only want one question at a time on declawing cats? Just checked the guidelines, and we are not supposed to post the same question multiple times, or 'chat'. So, should we go post on the question that's still there a little further down... or do you think we are breaking the guidelines in some other way?

(PS, this is my first ever question... do you think it will get deleted?)
