Ok so, this is hard to explain but I will try my best. My pathfinder will start up just fine...but while I am driving all the lights come on including the service engine light and I cannot accelerate (kinda like I am running out of gas) but the car is still somewhat running and when I say somewhat I mean it is like running really rough but I cant rev it up or anything. i have to shut it off and turn it back on, and will sometimes crank up right away, but sometimes it takes a few tries and is kind of hesitant to accelerate but then runs fine, the service engine light will even go off. what the heck is going on? Someone told me the fuel filter could be clogged? Does that sound right?

I am a single mother of 2 and work 2 jobs but no matter how hard I work I still cant meet all the bills after car payments, insurance, food, daycare, utilities, etc. My fathers name is on this as a cosigner and I can rent a place bigger than my home for almost half of what I pay for my mortgage so this is why I am asking. My ex-husband (who also doesnt pay child support and the state isnt doing anything about it) ruined my credit so refinancing is not an option for me either (plus the fact that I owe WAY much more than it is worth). So, is forfieting it better for me? Will it ruin my fathers credit too right? What would you do in my situation? Thank you so much in advance!

Okay, so my 8 year old has been sassing me (telling me no, that he hates me, yelling etc) whenever I try to get him to help me around the house like asking him to clean his room, help set the table, bring me his laundry etc. BUT he is very respectful to everyone he comes in contact with by saying yes/no maam and yes/no sir and does anything asked of him with everyone but me! In school he is a honor roll student and NEVER gets into trouble there. He is bad only with me! His dad works out of town for 6 weeks at a time and back for 1-2 weeks and gone again, so I am pretty much a single parent and having a really hard time trying to discipline him. I have tried to take things away, tried rewarding good behavior, tried time out and nothing has worked! Does anyone have any advice for me? I have a 15 month old to and I dont want him to learn this behavior. Thanks in advance!

I plugged in my mouse and keyboard in and nothing happens when I move the mouse or pusk any keys on the keyboard. I even bought a new keyboard and mouse thing it was something wrong with the others but when I plug them in both of them light up but nothing happens on the screen, the arrow doesnt move or anything. Whats wrong? How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

When I plug my mouse and keyboard into the back of my computer neither one works. the arrow doesnt move around when I move the mouse nor can I type anything. Okay, to make a long story short, I own a barber shop and an employee told people that I was running it illegally and it was going bankrupt when in fact none of that is true and I can prove it. She got all of my customers addresses and sent them letters when she quit to let them know that she opened up her own shop. She also told my customers to leave the pay to the order of part blank and then wrote her name in instead of my shops name and never in 25 years have customers wrote the checks to the personal operator. I have 2 copies of those checks from my clients that have her name on them and I expect a lot more. What can I do to stop these people from harming my business further? Is there any legal action I can take? Thanks in advance

I had an employee recently quit before I got her SSN and address (which I can find that out). I know it was stupid of me not to get it when I hired her but its a lesson learned now. I have called her and asked for the info but she wont return my call. Is there anything I can do to force her to give me the info so I can have it ready for my 2008 taxes? Can I report her to the IRS? Thanks in advance!

My car is in my name and the co-signer is my sister-in-law. My soon to be ex-husband wants the car and I dont. I cant trust him to make the payments and that would ruin my credit. I just want my name off the car and the insurance. Is there a way just to change it? It is financed and quite a bit ($15,000.00) owed on it. Am I stuck with it or can I just turn it over to him and how would I go about it? Thanks in advance!

My husband is an alcoholic and I just gave birth to our second child 10 days ago. I have left my home and am staying with my parents because I am not going to put 2 kids through this. My first child has seen too much with the fighting and bickering between me and his father. We only have one car and my husband has taken that too, so I have been run out of my own home. When my husband is sober he is the best man in the world but when he isnt he makes my life miserable. So far the bad is outweighing the good. He says that he doesnt have a problem and that it is me that has the problem. How can I snap him out of his denial? How can I get my home back (the house is in myself and my fathers name) and my car (in my name)? I dont want to keep his children away from him because they deserve a father but I am making sure that he is sober when they see him and he is under my supervision while they are with him since he has drank when my oldest son was in the car. What would you do?

I am 39 weeks pregnant and will be induced on Wednesday. I am so tired of sharing my body and I just want to be normal again! My house has never been so clean as I have disinfected, organized, washed, scrubbed and mopped everything in site. My husband is terrified to come home sometimes becuase I can go from nice to a royal b#@!$ in a flash. I had my first child almost 7 years ago and dont remember being or acting like this. I feel like I am going crazy! I have been on anxiety medication from the start of this pregnancy but I dont think it is working. Does anyone else have experiences like this? How do you calm yourself down?

My 6 year old has horrible eczema on his elbows, he scratches the little bumps until they bleed. I had tried medicated ointments, lotions, neosporin, and all kinds of other things. It only shows up with warmer weather, we live in lower alabama so it gets really hot here and the bumps get worse and worse. I have taken him to the doctor and she gives me cream that works for a bit and then it all comes back. Is there any home remedies that you know of or anything that will work to get rid of this? With my first child my husband spent the night on the hospital bed next to me but I dont remember if they would let him shower or anything else like that. It has been almost 7 years since I had first child. We live about 30 miles from the hospital and his job is only about 5 miles from the hospital so it would be easier for him just to stay at the hospital (and save alot of gas) and then go to work.Did your husband get to take a shower in the hospital?

I am going for my 38 week appointment tomorow morning. They have already said that they will induce me but I was wondering how long did you have to wait to get induced? Did they put you in that same day or schedule it later that week? I am so miserable. Just wanted to get an idea. Thank in advance and congrats to all mommy-to-be's!

I am fixing to file for divorce on Monday and want my husband out. He is an alcoholic and tears my house up all the time. The house is in my name and my fathers name. I am 36 weeks pregnant with my second child and cant take the stress of this relationship anymore. Do I have to give him a 30 day eviction notice or can I kick him out now?

I have a son that is 6 1/2 years old and with that pregnancy I had no problems at all. We started trying for another baby when he was 4 and have had 5 miscarriages and 1 D&C all within a year. I finally found out I was pregnant about 6 months later. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and everything has been great with this pregnancy. I did have to take progesterone until 14 weeks since my levels were low but everything since then has been wonderful. The problem is that I am constantly thinking about not being able to bring him home due to being stillborn. My church had a baby shower for me and I didnt even want to put the crib or anything up thinking I might jinx myself. Does anyone else worry about this like I do?

I am 35 weeks preggo with my second child and not sure what birth control I want to go on when I have him. I was thinking about getting an I.U.D. put in like Mirena but it has quite a few scary side effects (eptopic pregnancies etc). Has anyone had a bad experience with one? I am of course goind to ask my midwife but just wanted some of your opinions.Thanks in advance

I am so bad at public speaking. I get so nervous and say "uh" and "um" alot so I thought if I could already have a speech made up it and memorize then that would help me tremendously. The ladies at my church are giving me a baby shower on Saturday. This is my second child (I have a 6 1/2 year old). Can anyone guide me in what to say??

Long story short. I am 33 weeks pregnant and my husband is a real dead beat. He had a great job and only stayed there for 3 weeks (after being without a job for over 9 months last year) He got fired for not showing up because he went out the night before and got drunk and didnt go to work. He does this with all his jobs though so it is no surprise. He is an alcoholic. When he is sober he is the most helpful and giving man but when he is drunk he is a nightmare to deal with. I have been the only one working and our bills are way more than I make so my parents and my husbands parents have been helping us. I cant stand asking for help and have tried to get a second job but I am supposed to go on maternity leave in 2 weeks (doctors orders). If it were left up to my husband we would been living in a cardboard box. I asked him to move out a few days ago but he wont. I have given him a 30 day eviction notice and he laughed and said all this was caused by my hormones. What would you do?

My sister had her daughter almost 2 years ago and almost exclusively breast fed her but did use the bottles a few times. So they are like brand new. What I a getting at is she has handed the bottles down to me. I have looked at the nipples and there is no damage to them whatsoever but should I just throw them away or should I use them?
