Still stumped...

I have a 1 & 1/2-yr old, front-loading, wash/ machine. I use Tide HE, Downy concentrate & a little diluted, Borax powder w/ every wash. For my whites, I use additional bleach & always spot treat prior. (Borax is a very environmentally safe cleaner, NOT HARSH)

However, for awhile now, I've seen brown, dirt-like spots, oil-looking spots & lil blue spots (like ink, but they don't respond 2 removal by alcohol)...

Any answers for what could be causing the brown, dirt-like spots & oil-looking spots?

Per the suggestions to my 1st ??, I will try adding the Vinegar to my darks(the only ones that ever smell like mildew) and also using 1/2 the Downy and diluting it more. (Although my washer dilutes it prior to dispensing into tub)

FYI: I leave my washing mach. door open after use to air out & rinse out after 5 loads or so..

Just finished doing some whites, & on my 2 FAV t-shirts, I now have lil blue spots (like ink, but they don't respond 2 removal by alcohol)...also have brown, dirt-like spots & oil-looking spots! Can it get any worse?

It also happens to my darks, except w/ those, I see the oil-looking spots more & sometimes, certain sweats come out smelling like water mildew (no matter how much I re-wash)

I'm usually an Ace @ doing laundry, but I'm stumped here. Should I do something diff. w/ a front-loader? I just don't know?
