  • Will the Wii Rock Band guitar, drums and mic work with the new Wii Band Hero?

I currently have Rock Band (the first version, not Rock Band 2) for the Wii, which includes the guitar, drums and mic. I am considering purchasing the new Wii Band Hero, but I'm not sure if my controllers are compatible. I've seen some of the compatibility charts, but don't see one with Band Hero. Does anyone know? Thanks.

  • How to prevent a child from being enrolled in special education?

A child in the state of Missouri was diagnosed with epilepsy several months ago, due to false information provided by one of the parents. A second opinion and new tests revealed no seizure activity. However, the parent who provided the false information is now pursuing special education for this child, who won't qualify without a diagnosis. Unfortunately, the educators didn't know about the second set of tests, and are ready to pursue the special education route. They will not delay the deadline for a decision, stating "the plan is already in place." They also state that only one parent needs to sign the consent to enroll the child, which the parent providing false information is ready to do. What, if anything, can be done to prevent this child from being enrolled in special education? If nothing, is there any recourse?

  • Can I use a high heat spray paint to rehab the grates on my gas cook top?

My grates are looking a little worn, and repeated scrubbing of the surface has taken off some of the black paint. A set of new grates costs over $200. Can I just use a high heat spray paint (like those formulated for grills) to make them look new again? Thanks.

  • Is there an adapter that will screw-in to a candelabra base to extend the height?

I am looking for a way to add height to my chandelier light fixtures. They have a very short base. Is there an adapter of sorts that looks sort of like a candle (white or off-white, with a collar at the top), and will screw into the base, and then I can screw the bulb into the top of the adapter? I'm looking for something that will add 3-5 inches of height to each base. Not sure if I'm making it clear or just confusing. Thanks for any help!

  • Graph all possible solutions, using only whole numbers?

I am helping my daughter with one of her math problems, and we ran into a bit of a snag. The last part of this multi-step problem asks us to graph all possible solutions to our equation, which is c >= 2.5w. I'm thinking coordinate graph, right? Normally we would just shade in the region above the line, but here's the catch...in our problem, c and w refer to people (c = number of customers, w = number of winners), so it doesn't make sense to graph ALL possible solutions, only the whole number solutions, right? So how do we graphically represent the solution to this problem? I can't figure it out. Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

  • Can my daughters share their iPod songs?

So we have three daughters. They all love the Jonas Brothers. I have already paid for the oldest one to purchase their newest album. Now the other two want the album on their iPods as well. When I try to sync my middle daughter's iPod, it says "some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied to the iPod because you are not authorized to play them on this computer." Do I have to buy the album two more times to allow all of them to listen to it? I've already bought three iPods. Please tell me I am not going to have to buy three albums! By the way, not sure if it makes a difference, but we are all sharing an iTunes library in a central location (the three girls and my husband and I....make that 5 iPods). We also each have our own iTunes account. My pocketbook thanks you for any help you can provide.
