Got stationed in Travis AFB my BAH with dependents is 2300. My wife and I found an apartment for 1670 just curious if with utilities would my BAH cover this no problem? I think I get an allowance for food and stuff too not completely sure. Also how soon after I report to duty does that BAH change? Thank you.

Me and my Wife have orders to Travis Ca AFB we also have a 1 year old son. We really love the area and would like to purchase a home while we are still receiving BAH. Would this be a smart move? Both our credit scores are above 720 and we still have the VA loan to use... is this recommended over renting?

I am active duty Air Force and was thinking about trying out real estate part time, I'd like to go full time once I get out of service. My CO is alright with us having part time jobs would this be a smart move to get ahead on learning the business while still in the military? How much income could you realistically make part time?

I understand that I have to pick a list of 9 and a aptitude of MGEA but I was wondering how much time do you get to look at your list of jobs and write the 9 down. I really want to avoid going in as an open enlistment, so whatever I can to avoid that.

I am wanting to join the Airforce but dont want to be a MP or bus driver anything like that. Would like a job with good civilian possibilities. Everything im seeing with a score of 60 isnt very great but its a high enough score to get in. I think I can do better. My line scores I got were M47 G55 E41 A69 really want an Air traffic job

My plan was to enlist in the Airforce under general aptitude but I had an opportunity for a civilian firefighting job If I get into the Military with a Fire Protection job. The Airforce is my first choice in terms of branch but at this point I just want to have the guarantee fire protection spot, even if I have to adjust branches. Should I call other recruiters and ask them what they could offer me?

Fiancee I've been with for a year and is pregnant with our child gave someone money to buy a gift that they thought I'd like..... should I be upset because I feel pretty unappreciated.

The gift was 200$ dollar sunglasses but that honestly doesn't matter to me just the fact I feel no effort was put into it

My Fiancee who I ve dated for 1 year and we are having our first child had our 1 year anniversary. I gave her disneyland tickets for the weekend for us to go out together. My Wife and I are having our first kid in september, I have a job right now that pays 17 dollars an hour and her job pays 12. Im considering joining the Airforce so we have a chance to move away from our hometown and start a life somewhere else. I also have always wanted to serve on the Airforce. What should i expect for my family if i were to join, where would they stay while i am away on bootcamp?

I dated a girl for 5 years and we ended with her pretty much just dumping me randomly without warning. I was a pretty terrible bf, I drank a lot and was jealous very easily......present day I do not drink anymore and have a new gf that I ve been seeing for 5 months now and it s going great.
