I have a life long friend who has no relatives. He has several pieces of property, and wants to put my name on the deeds. Is this a smart thing to do? His lawyer does not want to put it into a trust for some reason. I told him I thought the best method was an irrevocable trust. Any ideas?

I have 120 volts coming into the fan on a call for heat, but am wondering if the circuit board on the back comes off the motor so I can test it independently? Do I have to buy the whole assembly or just the board or motor? Thanks

It costs $56000 for $500000 in coverage to age 105. I am 49 yrs old and in good health. The main reason for buying, is that the coverage is good for nursing home care, and home health care if I become incapacitated. It is underwritten by Hartford Insurance.

I try to boot up in safe mode and a blue screen appears. Says it is checking file system on the C drive. It goes through chkdsk and after it says it is verifying indexes, it goes through about 20% of them, then an error message comes up and it freezes up. I power the computer down, start it up and go through the process again. After about 10 of these sequences, windows will appear, and I can log on. Any ideas?

My ring finger on my right hand started giving me a lot of pain when I bend it. The pain is in the joint area, but I can pull straight on it without any pain. It was not injured, and is slightly swollen. It just really hurts when I use it!

He has several traffic violations and my insurance company is going to drop him. If he gets his own insurance from a different company, will I still be liable for an accident if he has one? I have not claimed him as a dependent for two years on my taxes. Is he still my dependant in the eyes of the law?

When we pulled the pan, the rod bearing on the piston closest to the timing belt was worn paper thin. The car was full of oil, and all the other bearings were fine. What happened?

Does anyone know what this means?
