im just joined the navy my husband is also military. we have no family care plan. i want to get out because there is no one to help or willing to help if we were to deploy..i no im sol but i told my command my issue and still for a month they have done nada! my husband tore his acl n needs surgery. and will not be on his feet for a while. and there is no one to watch my son. they told me i could only go home for 2 weeks but his recovery to be outta work time is 30 days. he would not be able to properly take care of my son. and also can you even be in the military with out having a family care Plan?..navy sucks! they could care less bout your family!

just wanna know ......how is life for u and do u love or hate ur job...lol..dont know any one who hates it..lol..also how many of u are married and or have kids?

ok so u want to go into the navy but ur a single mom who wants to give her child and self a better life..but then u find out u have to give up full rights to ur only child....or get married..u r some what religious n dont really want to be n a fake marriage...u have a boyfriend in the army who u live with and been with 6 months and talk about getting married... and a best guy friend who is also ur child's god father.both of which r willing to marry so u dont have to give up full custody..who do u marry?.the boyfriend who is in the army?..or the best friend?..if u dont want any strings....just ur kid...and a better life

which one would be best for a female?....i really wana work with guns...butwhich one would be more fun..and does any one know where the "A" school is for MA?...oon which job would be better for long term enlistment?

my mom is hispanic..n is fluent in spanish..but i have yet to reach her level because i have no one to talk to in spanish..id ask my mom but she gets on my last nerve!!..lol..also i just finished a class for elementary arabic..i love that beautiful language..and i have Absolutely no one to talk to ..to help learn more!..and i guess imma over Achiever or a nerd cause i wanna learn french too!..

i would really like help with spanish and arabic the most though..sooo if any one is willing to chat with me .over e-mail or.maybe over the phone if in the area ..in those languages i would be very appreciative!

ok..sooo my b/f and i got a lil carried away last night...my period stoped early..im not due to put in a new ring until tomarrow..only problem is he got some of his love juice in me...sooo i wanna go get a plan b pill...does anyone know if this is ok since i start my new ring tomarrow...will it throw my cycle off???...

ok...soo he is potty trained...he wears big boy under ware.in the day time..he takes naps and wakes up dry..i dont give him any juice or nada to drink after 6 pm...i make him go to the potty..right before bed..he goes to bed about 9 pm..and some nights i put the 'good nites' on him..and some nite under ware.. and he still wakes up wet!!...i tired waking him every nite at 3 am...that dont work..and just frustrates me!...cus he still wakes up wet! he gets up to tell me he is having bad dreams..but dont use the potty.is he just lazy?...when he goes to the sitter on the weekends she makes him wear pull-ups over night because she also said he wets at her house...im really running outta options...

any one been through this before?...or have any good suggestions?...thanks!

i have a small child and i was considering go active until fts was brought to my attention...how does this work? and does anyone else think this is a better choice than going active?..and would i come back to my home state..or could i be close?...im in md now..what are my chances of getting stationed in norfolk? or even closer?..

ok soo this Will be the first time i am meeting his mother and other friends and family of his..we are going early in the am and its about a 2 hour drive..what should i wear to her home?..i dont wanna be too over dressed..but i dont wanna be too under dressed either..and he is playing a football game in the am and its gonna be cold..should i wear sweats in the am and change..or what???...

oo and i am about 5'7 128 lbs..

does any one think that maybe the sergeants girlfriend should not go into the navy and marry him?...or should the girlfriend go to the navy anyway and still get married?..or should the girlfriend chose a different branch like a/f instead.....will it work either way?..why or why not?....

ok IF i WAS engaged a guy in the army n i am in the navy...is there any possible way for us to be together..at least close..or is getting married the only way?..and even then would we be able to be together?...does any one think this is a waste of time?? cuz that's what people are saying..

btw..i have a child ..he doesn't..if we were married he would adopt him..would that change anything?...also to he has been deployed and i have not...does that make any difference...and just an fyi..we have been together for a while..but looks like im gonna be the one moving around...

ok..i took a practice test at the local rctr. office..with out studying i got a 37...i suck at math..i have been studying for 2 weeks and got a 44 on another practice test..i was in high school 5 yrs ago..n i cant remember ****!..i bought a study guide from the book store...and made flash cards..im really nervous that i wont get a good score..which i wont get a good job...so a 44 i know this is not good..dose any one think i should go ahead and take the real test ..or have any suggestions on what i should do to help boost my score?..im good in gs..and wk..i just suck at math..can i use a calculator?..i mean thats how i was taught in high school...lol..HELP!

I am trying to chose a job and rate before i go to MEPS...i wanna do intell...or languages..and Crypt...but how hard is this really?..i know spanish and arabic..and really like to learn about new cultures...im sort of a book nerd....when it comes to things like this...is there a specific job i should request to get me to this..or can i enlist as a CTI... or do you need a degree? first?...I took a sample test 3 times..and first got about 3 questions wrong..n then perfect scores after that.....any suggestions?....

in the state of md. can a registered child sex offender live with minors ?...its his own daughter and there is also 2 other minors that he babysits that are not immed. family ...gross...but he has a lil girl who is 3 and his mom has custody for her..but he lives in her house..he was charged with 3rd degree againsnt a a girl under the age of 13...his mom uses him as a live in sitter cuase he is under house arrest...i tried calling cps but they keep saying they will look into it..i know its not my child but what if he is doing something to this lil girl?..i dont know what to do!

Im wanting to join the navy...i have only been aressted once...and this was it!...my mother husband( not my dad)...came to MY house and broke in and told me he was gonna kill me and pushed me trhough a door...so i hit him in his face to try n keep him from coming in..my son was in bed....i was defending my home and my family...and i still got aressted!..i go to court in dec....my rctr. said i should be fine...but what if they dont dissmiss my case..i was told they might.because.i have never been aressted or even have had a speeding ticket!...and imma bout 128lbs..he was prob. 200...do u think imma get convicted?...will this hurt me in terms of enlisting..cuz im ready to leave my hell! im soo ready to leave...plz i need some advice!

my rctr. told me that i should try to get MA..but my gurl who has been in for 3 yrs said i will prob. go to iraq if i do this...how tru is that..i mean i no there is always a chance but really what are they???

ok imma bout to go to basic soon for the navy..i live in md...and my son will be in oh with family while i am gone....can i ask to be in va or rhode il soo i can be with in driving distance...what is the reality that they will keep me some what close to my son?.do they give u what u want or will i have to bite the bullet.....seeing as he wont be living with me right away....will i be able to at least go vist before a school???....or will i have to wait?....how often will i get to talk to him in basic..or will i only be able to write?....plz no neg. comments...its hard egnough as it is..thanks
