Do we have any respect for human life anymore? Other than our own.

What exactly is a hate crime? And aren't all violent crimes hate crimes? If I punch a straight person in the face, its still hate that compels me to do so, right?

I would really appreciate any non-Christian's comments. Or Christians for that matter. I am seriously just wondering what it is. Do you think He was a thief, a liar? Did He harm anyone? Why do you dislike Him so much?

that there is even more animosity toward Jesus and Christians this week than there has been in the past 3 months? It feels like the atheists are moving from a disbelief in Jesus Christ to downright hatred of Him. How can you hate someone if you don't believe they exist?

I have a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, and have started to notice a few problems. I feel like maybe all the problems arise from the same central problem, but maybe I'm wrong?

The car was parked for 2 months, and I have recently started driving it again. I notice that it now takes a few seconds to start, but starts faster if I give it a little gas first. Then 2-3 times per day, after starting it, I will notice that the clock on the radio has reset to 12:00. The actual driving of the car seems totally fine, but when idling at a stop sign or red light for a few minutes, I notice that the A/C is no longer blowing cold air.

So what do you think? I have a feeling the alternator is the problem, but kind of wanted to have some kind of idea before I go to the shop.

Ok, I mean on top of the grass.

I have noticed all around town people are having their lawns sprayed with this neon green stuff. It is sprayed right on top of the yellow grass. I just bought my first home a few months ago, do I also need to do this to my lawn? I live in North Central Texas.

I hear everyone saying, "ooh he wants to 'spread the wealth'" I want to know what is so wrong with that? For instance, if a person has 160 million dollars, why shouldn't they want to take 60 million and give that to people in need, and still have 100 million dollars for themselves. Aren't we becoming a little too greedy, as a society?

Ok, my friend, who is computer illiterate, asked me for help with ebay. She wanted to get her 8 year old daughter a keyboard because she is learning piano. I showed her several options on ebay and she chose a really fancy one, that ended up costing $270. I bid on it for her, and then she didn't have the money to pay for it right then, so i paid for it with the understanding that she would pay me back when she got paid. So, the keyboard came, and it has a dent in it that makes 3 of the keys stick. Also, it is a mide keyboard and does not make any sound on its own. Neither of us know how to set it up. She does not want it hooked up to her computer, and apparently that's the only way it will work. She is dissatisfied with and has yet to pay me. I need my money but want to keep her as a friend. Please help.

My friend just puchased a Pro Audio m- 88 key MIDI keyboard, and had no idea what she was getting. She basically just wants to play songs on the keyboard, not recording. So, imagine our surprise when we set this huge sucker up and plugged it in, and there's no stupid sound!! So, obviously I now get that it has to be connected to a computer or other MIDI device, but we just want to know if she can purchase some speakers or something that will plug directly into the keyboard, bypassing the computer? We are both technologically challenged and musically illiterate, this was just supposed to be a keyboard for her daughter who is learning piano.

I don't understand the impact that Fannie and Freddie's troubles have and will have on our economy. Are we talking about mass foreclosures or what? The news media makes it sound like its a terrible crisis. Can anyone explain this for me??

I love this house and want to buy it but it has horrible wood paneling through the whole thing, even in the bathrooms!! I know the home would be beautiful without it, but am not sure i am up to removing it. Any suggestions on what to do? I have thought about painting over it but do not want to have those ugly cracks every 8 inches or so where the panels connect.

Is there a simpler solution?
