I have two very large dogs that are both the same size. One is female (not spayed) and one is male (neutered). My female dog is always challenging and starting fights with the male dog, sometimes for no reason. My male dog tries his best to stay away from her, but when he has to, he asserts his dominance. Even though she always ends up submitting to him, she still picks fights. What do I do?

We noticed she was not eating a few days ago, and lost some pounds. We took her to the vet and she gave us medication and a special food for her. It's the day after the vet visit. Our dog takes the medication but won't eat. She's also really listless. (The only movement she's doing is blinking). And she smells funny. What's wrong? She's not dying is she? I've had her for 7 years so that makes her about 50.
