changed out the gfci plug for same type...it kept tripping... put a regular 110/15amp plug on and plugged in to regular 110/15 amp circut and it worked fine...plugged the regular plug into a 15 amp and a 20 amp gfci outlet and still tripping the outlets...

I have a Bose radio/CD player that I use in general in the house. When I have company and we are out on the deck I would like to coordinate the indoor music with the outdoor music without needing wires strung throughout the house. The problem is I only have 2 RCA jacks out on the back of the Bose (older unit, still working good though) Anything I can doo to make the outdoor speakers wireless by using the RCA out jacks?????

I fixed a toshiba laptop that has no operating system cause it was wiped clean. Can I take an operating system disc from my dell desktop and use it to load to the toshiba laptop? The laptop has a product key... Any help appreciated

The laptop would not power on.I found a burn through hole the size of a toothpic through the power button ribbon cable. I suspect that is the problem, but would be interested to know if that was caused by a bad board. The power connector of the laptop was checked with a ohm meter and found 43.0 ohms resistance.I stripped out all the components one at a time and the reading in ohms stayed the same.After disconnecting the power supply connector from the board, I checked the connector to be sure there was infinite resistance. Any ideas or tips welcome.... Thanks

How do I find a replacement one that will fit my snap pattern? I have no idea what brand it was and I really do not wish to spend a bunch of money on it being as it is a 2000 ford.Is there such a thing as a fit and install the snap caps as you go cover??Any help greatly appreciated..(the snaps are drilled into the fenders and not really a change option at this point)

I have a 55" led tv (samsung) that I added a samsung wireless lan adapter to...I have set the wireless router to accept the address of the adapter and added the security code to the tv..It says the wireless network is working fine on the tv.... But what can I pick up with this new addition??? Do I need to subscribe to something like Netflix or blockbuster to access something??

Fixing up my Dads 2004 Dell 4600 Dim. with added memory, new flat screen monitor and a not working DVD ROM drive for pictures and video. Any ideas why it will not recognize a disk is already installed???Any ideas appreciated before I just go and replace it...Thanks

I have a 2 story townhouse with vinyl siding and alum gutters and soffits. I purchased a 24 foot telescoping ext. but have never done a house. How about a good wash detergent? Do I actually have to get really close at the top in order to get it clean? Any tips much appreciated....Starman

I purchased a pendant light to replace it but the ceiling is so high that I can not reach it safely.(I may have to reinforce the electrical mount box) I am no stranger to home repair but this one has me scratching my head.Any ideas would be considered helpful...
