God said that the bible is his word, and the bible says that god exists, but why trust the bible in the first place? It seems like circular logic no? There really is no reason to believe in Christianity that I can see. Other than your parents telling you it's real...

How can I improve my chances? Needless to say, I am shooting for the stars here! It has been a goal of mind to attend a prestigious school such as Stanford. I am an above average student academically.

So I had an interview on Monday, everything went well and I was told that I should expect a second interview. I call back on Friday, and then I am told that the other manager should have scheduled another interview by now. So I am guessing the second manager forgot or something, it's Sunday and still nothing! So what do you think I should do at this point. I really want to work there, I showed Starbucks that I really wanted to work there.

I finished my FAFSA in February, so it has been a while since I completed my FAFSA. I just have a question of around when do colleges send out the financial aid packages for returning students? I will be a 4th year at my university.

I choose the first.

Due to school being over, I had way too much time on my hands. Throughout my teenage years, I had some condition, and it is resolved now. Yet I always daydream about where I would be right now if I never had the condition in the first place. If I don't check it I could be daydreaming for an hour. How would I stop this? I think it's called maladaptive daydreaming.

For the record, my condition was nothing like cancer but it was still disabling to some extent.

It's a pessimistic view . I am friends with people because I get something in return. I don't pretend to be friends with anyone, but in the end it looks like I only love myself. So I only think people form relationships because they want something in return. Makes me feel lonely.

In my dream, a lot of things happened but i remember that I was watching some group present in some class, and I got up and joined them. A girl started screaming saying that it wasn't my turn or something. So I got very angry, and I yelled "Shut up... this is just a DREAM"! Once I said that, something clicked, everything became much clearer and I became conscious, i even changed the setting of the dream willingly. Is that what a lucid dream is?

I was watching the Iowa GOP debate and Ron Paul said that that was a problem. I don't know much about politics and economy so I want something clarified. What is the problem with government fighting for rules that will protect the environment and ourselves? There is no way that I, the average citizen can stop a company from harming everything.
