A member of my family is a veteran from WWII and has recently become ill. He was placed in a 24 hour care nursing facility and currently has 10 more days of care under his insurance. After the 10 days we have been advised the care will cost $125.00 per day. He is not a fully disabled veteran. Does the VA supplement this care? Also are there any other programs that could ease the cost of this?

More specifcally would like to be able to vote on the type of tax policy and where the money would be spent?

Also do you believe a policy like this would be a good idea?

The US post office has said that I can not ship silver to australia becasue it is on the retricted item list. I called US customs and they advised me there is no restrictions for exporting silver. I also went to australias customs website and silver is not showing as a restricted item. Finally I went http://www.aqis.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex_querycontent.... This is the australian consulate website that list import restrictions. Again there is no restrictions showing up for silver. I don't want to hsip this order and have it confiscated. Can anybody advise me on the matter.
