Economics5 years agoHow can I break free from social anxiety for college?
I had a bad experience with a friend and a guy and that's why I developed a little bit of social anxiety. And it is real and I'm not just like "I'm awkward hehehe" I'm extremely coy. But when I go to college will it just kind of break away because of the environment? Or should I practice? Thanks for the advice
2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)5 years agoIs this selfish of me to think this?
So my dad recently had a heart attack but he's doing extremely well and is coming home soon. But my mom said how many people called her and texted her about how they're sorry to hear what happened. And all the people she knows I know and I didn't hear anything from them and they are people like friends and family. And I got really upset cuz they didn't call me or anything and I'm his daughter. I'm not handling my emotions very well and I would love a family member to talk to but I almost feel like I was forgotten in this process and I don't mean to sound self centered but do I?
3 AnswersFamily5 years agoI m extremely nervous for college. Advice?
I was so happy to get out of high school but now I m hearing how hard college is and how though the professors are. I also have a little bit of social anxiety. I have two other friends going to my college which could give me a little boost but I don t always want to stick around them. And I keep reading stuff about how high schoolers jumping into college is funny cuz it s harder than they think. That s discouraging to me. Does this mean I m not ready to go to college? I really need some good advice. Thanks
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)5 years agoMy parents and I are throwing a graduation party and we want to invite our new neighbors but not their kids. Help?
I m graduating from HS and we are having a graduation party. We invited a bunch of neighbors that we love and we have new neighbors that have two little kids. The girl is very well behaved and sweet but the boy is very obnoxious and messes with everything. We want the parents to come over but we don t want the kids at a grad party. Do we just not invite them? Or do we put adults only on the invitation? I m not sure.

Ok so I have been in a long distant relationship with a guy for almost a month and yes we are Bf and Gf as much as we can be in a long distant relationship. Then a guy I have have known for a while in school said he likes me and I said to him that I kinda have a bf even though he is long distant but i still wanna be friends with you and he acted very mature and said oh no im not mad its ok. Question 1: how do i know if he is really ok? i don't like hurting peoples feelings. Question 2: should i tell my bf that another guy asked me out? But im thinking i shouldn't because i don't want him to feel insecure or suspicious and i love my long distant bf and I don't plan on dumping him for the other at all

5 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agoAm I being catfished?
so i met this guy online and we have been chatting for a week now and my friends who have had online relationships say i need to skype him and see if he's "real" so i asked him nervously and he said "yes but i don't have a mic" well thats ok right? like at least if I can see his face in the camera and he smiles and whatever. Also, he gave his number and when he texted me at the bottom of the text it says "sent from freetext.com" is that weird if he didn't give me a real number or do you think he just can't afford texting?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agoI am so nervous about skyping this guy. Help?
So i met this guy online and my friends have had online relationships before and they said that i should skype him to make sure he isn't catfishing me. I told him over the weekend we should skype so i can see you in person, he said "ok except i don't have a mic" well thats better than no camera. So i was thinking that i would have one of my friends over just sitting next to me so things aren't so awkward. Is that a good idea?
