Should I buy the house?
I need unbiased opinions, which is why I'm asking strangers. I grew up in a 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, four stories (including basement and attic). 75 yards away from the road, with a large lawn, surrounded on two sides by woods. It's two miles away from a popular boating lake. I absolutely love this house. The problem is that my mom became a cat hoarder and has had around 80-100 cats in the house for the past 10 years. She tried to keep it clean, she wasn't a hoarder of anything else, so it's not like she only had a small path to walk through each room. Most of the cats are litter trained, which she cleans. However, there are still like 20 cats in the house who would urinate and poop all over.
My dad finally put his foot down. They decided to move to get a fresh start and they offered me the house for $120,000. The going market for the area is $250k-$300k. I am a travel nurse, I make roughly $46 an hour depending on the job. I've never owned a house, I'm 22 and just finished college. I don't know anything about renovating a house or cost to do it. I know this house was built mid 1990s by my dad. I know the plumbing needs redone
I am in love with my childhood house and I want nothing more than to get it back to how it used to be-the house I was proud of. Is it worth the hassle? Will I ever be able to get the cat smell out of the basement? I'll probably need to rip the main part down to studs and redo because of the smell and urine stains. Should I buy it?

2 AnswersSmall Business6 years agoWhat is the inverse for (X-1)/(X+1)?
I think I know how to do this but when I get I don't know how to simplify it.
This is what I have:
f(x)= (x-1)/(x+1)
x= (y-1)/(y+1)
yx+x=y-1
yx-y= -x-1
y(x-1) = -x-1
y= -x-1/ x-1
I'm not 100% sure how to simplify it by removing the negative.
7 AnswersMathematics7 years ago17 and got kicked out--living with my boyfriend. Can my parents have him arrested for kidnapping?
Okay, this is a very difficult story to explain but i really need help. My family has a horrific past with drugs, rape, and abuse. I now live in a different state with my mother and step-father. I honestly think that they are mentally unstable and are probably bi-polar and my siblings who are 31, 29, 27, 24, and 23 all agree. My boyfriend (who will be 22 in 2 weeks) and i wanted to go to my home state to visit my family whom i haven't seen in many years. My parents flipped out. My mother acted like she was jealous that i was going to see my sisters/brother, nieces/nephews and she wasn't. The thing is, even if she had the chance to go up she wouldn't because she likes to start drama and cause her own misery. The morning after she found out we were going she said that they didn't want me anymore and told me to pack my things and leave. My boyfriend helped me get most of my things from the house and i'm with him at his parents house right now. I don't have the money to get emancipated and they aren't willing to sign any papers such as emancipation rights or anything, but they don't want me at the house anyways. I don't want to go back because they are very verbally abusive. I'm worried that they'll try to have my boyfriend arrested for kidnapping just out of spite and i know that if it's crossed their minds, they will have no problem doing it. Since they kicked me out and i have no where else to go, can they do that? I can't move in with my sisters or my brother since I'm starting my senior year in a few days and i don't want to loose my valedictorian status, go through the process of transferring, i already have my college picked out and ready to start my adult life with my boyfriend. We've been together for a very long time and we plan on getting married after i graduate. Moving in with my siblings isn't an option. Living with him and his family is my only one. Please help!

2 AnswersTVs8 years agoWhy did this happen? What is the difference?
My mom has been baking homemade bread to sell for many years and it's always been amazing! We received orders yesterday for bread and we were making it this morning. When it was done and we took it out it was about half the size, tasted wrong, and had a spongy-like texture. We checked all the ingredients and everything was fine except we used a different flour brand. It is all-purpose H&R flour. Is there a significant difference in H&R flour than Surfine all-purpose or Gold Metal all-purpose flour?

so for literally the past like 2 months i've constantly had dreams ever night/every other night about this one guy that i like. They are always different, examples would be us cudding on my bed, him asking me to prom, him kissing me in front of everyone in our school and just things like that. the thing is he's not even from america, he's german and our foreign exchange student and the last male german exchange student, i had dreams about him also and they have been more frequent over the past 2 weeks of christmas vacation.
