  • Lakers @ Celtics 2012 Part 1 / T.O.N.I.G.H.T. / P.R.E.D.I.C.T.I.O.N.S.?

    It's on tonight. I have made my predictions. Let me know what you think! Enjoy.

    PG

    * Derek Fisher v. Rajon Rondo

    Q.) Who can stop Rondo?

    A.) Rondo himself, & maybe Kobe.

    We wont really see too much of this matchup, only when Rondo has to defend Fisher on the defensive end. Rondo will run circles around Fisher all day on the offensive end, that way it will be Kobe defending Rondo.

    Advantage: Rondo (Celtics)

    SG

    * Kobe Bryant v. Ray Allen

    Almost the same as the PG matchup above, Kobe will not be expending so much energy to chase Ray all over the floor, to running into a green & white wall feat. : KG, Bass, Wilcox, & J.O. Kobe will leave that up to Fisher to do that. But we will see these two matchup when Ray has to defend Kobe on the defensive end.

    Advantage: Kobe (Lakers)

    SF

    * Ron Artest v. Paul Pierce

    I refuse to call a grown man Metta World Peace. Anyways, Artest has been floating in & out of the starting lineup. He will live off shutting down scorers for a few games, then disappear as well. On the other hand, Pierce; is just now getting back to what he was all long. If Pierce can make Artest look dazed & confused, it will be a long night.

    Advantage: Pierce (Celtics)

    PF

    * Pau Gasol v. Kevin Garnett

    The matchup that will possibly determine the outcome of the game. Garnett who embarrassed Gasol in the ’08 Finals, Gasol returned the favor in the ’10 Finals. Both split the reg. season matchups on one anothers home floor last season. This year, Gasol has been in & out of consistency. Meanwhile Garnett, is coming right back around, becoming more of the player he was last season. If this is any indication, I can see history repeating itself again.

    Advantage: Garnett (Celtics)

    C

    * Andrew Bynum v. Jermaine O’Neal

    The battle between two bigs who have missed games over the past 5 years, and it will come down to who will pick up the “ticky-tac” fouls first, but who will make the adjustments first?! Bynum will probably pick them up first, but I have a feeling that J.O. will follow suit & pick up a tech as well. Therefore, potentially forcing KG, and the undersized Bass & Wilcox to try prevent this improved version of Bynum from wreaking havoc near the basket.

    Advantage: Bynum (Lakers)

    Reserves

    * Lakers Bench v. Celtics Bench

    I really don’t see what the Lakers have within their bench, now if they move Artest back to the bench, maybe it would flow better. Can anyone tell me that Andrew Goudelock, Troy Murphy, Josh McRoberts, & Matt Barnes have been real trustworthy this season?! It has been all on the shoulders of the starters just about.

    Meanwhile, the Celtics bench bolsters Brandon Bass (6th man candidate), Mickael Pietrus, Chris Wilcox (recently), & Avery Bradley. Also if it gets out of hand, maybe you will see E’Twuan Moore, JuWuan Johnson, & Sasha Pavlovic as well.

    Advantage: Celtics Bench

    Coaching

    * Mike Brown v. Doc Rivers

    Both are great defensive minded coaches, as both franchises are ranked near the top in points allowed. But with Coach Brown not using the triangle, & giving Kobe the “green light”, I can see Doc using that to his advantage. Much like he did when Coach Brown coached the Cavaliers several seasons ago; let LeBron get his & make everyone else a non-factor. Now it will be Kobe going for his, & hopes to make Gasol, Bynum & the rest non-factors as well.

    Advantage: Rivers (Celtics)

    * Final Score: Lakers 94 – Celtics 89

    Even with all of this, I have a weird feeling that the Lakers are due for a league statement road win tonight. All thanks to Kobe & (maybe) Bynum.

  • If you was WWE creative, handling the CM Punk vs. John Cena fued & beyond?

    If you were the creative team, how would you handle the fued everyone is talking about right now. The CM Punk & John Cena fued.

    If it was me, I would handle it as in the following.

    July - August '11

    - Punk wins the title from Cena @ MITB ppv.

    - Next night, McMahon makes it official & fires Cena. But is making his own personal attempts to bring CM Punk back.

    - After a few weeks of failed attempts (3 weeks), McMahon announces a 16 man tournament with the final 2 men at Summerslam.

    - SummerSlam, since it will be in Hollywood, Rock can make an appearance & berate McMahon, CM Punk & Cena. Even calling off the WM 28 match.

    - Summerslam vacant title match (John Morrison v. R- Truth) since it makes since. Either one wins.

    Sept. '11 - oct. '11

    - Morrison or Truth's short title reign could last until the following ppv (vengeance).

    - 6 pack challenge hell in a cell match for title

    (morrison / truth / miz / del rio / kane / riley)

    Nov. '11

    - Nexus making presence felt on raw & sd! w/ new leader (David Otunga) saying they still keep in contact w/ CM Punk. Eveing calling him by his real name "Phil Brooks".

    - Rock makes another appearance @ survivor series in NYC. Saying since Cena cant comeback, he wants CM Punk @ wm 28. Tell Mcmhaon & Triple H to make it happen.

    Dec. '11

    - Nothing happens through this month. Business as usual throughout WWE ENT.

    Jan. '12

    - It heats back up. Raw in Boston or in Florida, Cena buys a ticket. But nothing happens. He talks about his movie he is doing.

    - CM Punk cuts web video (youtube) shooting on WWE, Cena, Rock, Triple H, McMahons. Says he is content with no longer being in WWE & working indy.

    - Rock goes on web videos to blast CM Punk, & WWE. But surprisingly praises Cena. Even hinting at the 2 wresting somewhere overseas w/ a different promotion. "Rock vs. John Cena could sellout anywhere, any promotion, anytime! Forget the WWE & lets do this."

    - Cena, thrilled to hear about it, but declines. States that even though he is no longer employed by ENT. He feels loyalty to them & wouldnt wrestle anywhere else. "Thanks but no thanks."

    - Royal Rumble, McMahon is getting ready to address something, & Rock makes an appearance, along w/ Triple H. They both want Cena & CM Punk back in the ring.

    Feb. '12

    - McMahon thinks about it. Will allow Cena to comeback. (in order to face the Rock) Due to a financial windfall.

    - Triple H wants CM Punk. But it will be extremely alot more harder than to convince CM Punk to comeback.

    - Both Triple H & CM Punk take cheap shots @ one another. One on TV (Triple H) & one over the internet (CM Punk).

    - Early March, CM Punk agrees for one more match with a large payday aganist Triple H.

    March '12 - April '12

    * End result

    WM 28 Double Main Event

    - CM Punk vs. Triple H (unsactioned last man standing match)

    - John Cena vs. The Rock

  • Where Yao Ming COULD GO?

    Wherever Yao goes, tickets will sell. It's time for the Rockets to part ways with him. Even when he was just about healthy, they were at best a 5-6 seed. Even without him, they barely missed playoffs.

    * Knicks: If Coach DanToni is there, it cant work. If a new coach is in place, then maybe it could.

    * Heat: A "catch 22" situation unlike anything else, if he is not going to be too much relied upon & think he can get the ring real quickly, then this is the place for him. Now if he thinks he can help contribute, & doesnt think he will be inserted into their gameplans, then this is not the place for him to go. It will be ticket sales more than anything.

    * Bulls: If he can back up Noah, then yeah this has a real shot to work.

    * Magic: With Coach Van-Gundy under review, & Dwight Howard expressing no plans to sign an extension, they need a back up center badly!

    * Lakers: I really can't see this one happeneing, but he could come off the bench & help dominate the 2nd unit.

    * Celtics: Doc Rivers! Enough Said! When Shaq joined last season, everyone thought it was no way it could work. Well for 40 games that Shaq did play, he looked in spurts dominant. Doc preaches teamwork, & will massage Yao's minutes. I'm sure he will even rest him on back-2-backs, or games aganist teams that wont make playoffs. This is probably the ideal situation for him.

  • Heat partying w/ the Mavs after Finals?

    I know I'm late, but I've been scouring the 'net trying to see who are the other 3 "un-named heat players" that partied w/ the Mavs after game 6 of the finals, and I still havent found nothing.

    So does anyone know who the other 3 guys are?

    The only 3 that I can think of are guys that were not suited up, or did not play.

    * Dexter Pittman: Rookie who hasnt seen no real reg. season playing time.

    * James Jones: Hasnt seen no action in the Finals. @ least to my knowledge.

    * Jamaal Magloire: Dont know why but he hasnt played too much either.

    Well let me know what ya'll think, or who the actual 3 are.

  • Trading LeBron James?

    Let’s just have fun w/ this one here. Basically if you are in some form of MGMT. w/ the Miami Heat organization, & you have no intentions of keeping LeBron James, what trade proposal would you make? This is just for fun, so all Heat fans; don’t get too sensitive about the matter at hand.

    Choose One Package Deal & let me know how you can make it work somehow.

    You can include other players, draft trade picks (1st & or 2nd rds. 2011-future yrs. draft), & other teams (3 team trade deal).

    * Here’s your options, have fun & make it work.

    a.) package deal feat. Dwight Howard (Magic)

    b.) package deal feat. Rajon Rondo (Celtics)

    c.) package deal feat. Rudy Gay (Grizzlies)

    d.) package deal feat. Andrew Bynum (Lakers)

    e.) package deal feat. Steve Nash (Suns)

    f.) package deal feat. LeMarcus Aldridge (Blazers)

    g.) package deal feat. Chris Paul (Hornets)

    h.) package deal feat. Joe Johnson (Hawks)

    i.) package deal feat. Russell Westbrook (Thunder)

  • Mike Tyson in "The Wolfpack" for good?

    * S.P.O.I.L.E.R. A.L.E.R.T.! *

    If you didnt see "The Hangover II" Then DO NOT READ the rest of this post.

    * S.P.O.I.L.E.R. A.L.E.R.T.! *

    Probably like most of you; last night, I got the chance to catch the midnight showing of ‘The Hangover II’. Mike doing a karaoke rendition of; “One night in Bangkok” to close out the movie was just flat out hilarious. And him at the end w/ the ‘Pack’ checking out the pictures to end the movie, got me to thinking; Tyson being on screen w/ the other 5 guys (albeit for a few seconds) he has good chemistry with those guys.

    Bottom line is; if they manage to do a 3rd “Hangover” somewhere down the line, should Mike have a bigger role in the movie?

    My Opinion, if they do, they should have Mike hang out w/ the crew somewhere exotic (Rio, Bahamas) and have him get lost. Yeah I know, one of the guys got lost in the previous 2 movies. But having Mike get lost would make it more challenging due to the fact that if he did, they can’t report him due to his celebrity status.

  • Dear Miami Heat Fans. For you Daily Laughter! LOL?

    5/16/2011

    Dear Miami Heat Fans

    Please stop crying. It's funny how you all come out in full force when your team (that you be claiming to support since b-ball was brought to Miami, but in actuality, became life-long fans last off-season!) wins, talk all sorts of noise. But disappear & run like hell when an immigration truck comes into your neighborhood!

    We hear all the excuses from you during losses:

    - They are not gelling together like Pierce, Allen, Garnett, & Rondo

    - They are not gelling together like Rose, Deng, & Noah

    - They are not gelling together like the Spurs & Lakers

    - It's Coach Spoelstra's fault

    - We should have never picked up Bosh

    Please let me lay facts on you:

    - F.A.C.T.: Wade, Magloire, Haslem, & Jones have all been toegether for quite sometime too!

    - F.A.C.T.: Celtics made some questionable trade deadline moves that costed them.

    - F.A.C.T.: Bulls got a new Head Coach, & 8 new players integrated into the roster.

    So please, save those tears for someone that cares.

    "The world is a better place when the Miami Heat lose. Everyone outside of Miami is happy because the Heat are losing games."

    - Dwyane Wade (2011)

    "We are not going to win; not 5, not 6, not 7. But we are looking at making history with this dynasty of nothing but championships!"

    - LeBron James (2010)

    Well, I have a quote for the Miami Heat franchise & thier fans!

    "Magnificent promises are always to be suspected."

    Theodore Parker (1847)

    Looks like Wade, James, & Bosh will be stuck w/ each other for the next 6 years. And oh yeah, you gave away alot of you future draft picks in order to get James, & Bosh. Wow amazing!

    Well, the world will hopefully be a better place within the next 7-10 days! Now can the church get an AMEN?!

    Sincerely

    lovedoctor

    P.S.

    To all of ya'll that have a problem with it, it will be an honor & a privilege for you to do something about it then!

  • 2011 ECF Finals: (1) Bulls vs. (2) Heat. PREDICTIONS!?

    I will not give a game by game prediction. But will breakdown the; Starting Lineups, Bench Lineups, Coaching Matchups, & the overall series predictions.

    * Starting Matchups

    - Derrick Rose vs. Mike Bibby

    Even Celtics PG Rondo had a hard time keeping Rose infront of him, & thats truly saying something. I've heard everyone say; "Derrick Rose or BUST!" Well probably not this time, I can see throughout all series, the Heat players over-committing when Rose comes into the lane, kicks it out to: Korver, Bogans, Brewer, Watson, & Gibson for the long range, or Noah & Boozer for the dump-off!

    Winer: Rose

    - Keith Bogans vs. Dwyane Wade

    Bogans, not a lockdown defender (i.e. Grizzlies' Tony Allen) but is an above average defender that will not require too much help with Wade. But Wade will need to work off the ball like he did aganist Ray Allen. If Wade can get out in the open, its just about 2pts everytime!

    Winner: Wade

    - Luol Deng vs. LeBron James

    2 streaky shooters. This is an important matchup. Both can help their team out in big ways. But, Deng is going to really have to step up. A quiet 18 pt affair wont do! He is going to have to stand up to LeBron early & often in order for them not to falter. As for LeBorn, we know his; name, power & reputation, but what will happen when things dont go his way?

    Winner: James

    - Carlos Boozer vs. Chris Bosh

    The most-important matchup in this series! 2 men who are considered over-paid, & over-rated to do what they do! One man (Bosh) who was thrown in the Miami deal in order for it to be completed. Dont be made Miami fans, thats the honest to God truth! The other man (Boozer), has taken Tracy McGrady's un-official title of; "Half-Man, Half-Season" & Bulls mgmt. are paying for a guy who has several 1st rd victories over the Rockets, many years ago. But who will shed that label of;"Fakest Tough Guy in the League" first?! Boozer needs this more than Bosh. We all know that Bosh can easly hide behind 2 guys (Wade & James), Boozer has his defeciencies made up alongside w/ Noah. They compliment one another. But if Boozer can make Bosh dissappear, then it will go a long ways for the Bulls.

    Winner: Even

    - Joakim Noah vs. Heat Center by Committee

    In the nothing to write home about section, Noah will outplay any big (defensively) the Heat trouts out there! Big Z wont go into the paint to bang w/ Noah. Dampier?!; where has he been?! J. Howard?!; please put him in streetclothes, immediaetely! J. Anthony?!; is better, but thats not saying too much. I dont even feel comfortable having Haslem thrown into the spot because he just got back. Noah is going to most liekly have a field day.

    Winner: Noah

    * Bulls Bench vs. Heat Bench

    Both teams feature spot up shooters. But the Heat bench doesnt really play defense. Meanwhile, Chicago will play defense because they have brought into Coach T's system. This will be the difference.

    Winner: Bulls Bench

    * Coaching Matchups

    - Tom Thibodeau vs. Erik Spoelstra

    2011 NBA Coach of the Year (Thibodeau); has something to prove here, he is standing out on his own after being an Asst. to Doc Rivers over the last 4 years. He can make all the right game-to-game adjustments that you really dont see out of coaches these days. Meanwhile, Spoelstra, will try to run some sort 'freelance' offense to get out in the open transition. But what 'Spo doesnt realize is that this isnt Boston he is running up aganist, this is a team with alot of athleticisim as well.

    Winner: Thibodeau

    * Series Prediction

    BULLS win 4-3

    Enjoy & let me know what you think!

  • Un-Official NBA 2010-11 Season Adwards: Rookie of the Year?

    * ROOKIE OF THE YEAR- BLAKE GRIFFIN / Clippers

    Without a doubt, this award should be given to Landry Fields. But since he is on the Knicks & has been a mere afterthought w/ Amare', Chandler, Gallinari, & Felton. Even now, after the trade deadline, he is still an afterthought w/ Amare', Carmelo, & Billups.

    But it's all about "The Blake Show" now! As time passed on, Griffin showed me that he is a legit canidate for R.O.Y.. Aside from the ESPN highlight reel dunks on a nightly basis that has made him become must-see tv! He has also shown furute leadership qualties. He has made former teammate Barron Davis care about playing basketball again. And while it maybe quite sometime before Shawn Kemp v2.0 can learn everything in the NBA, he has earned alot of the fans around the world, their respect!

    - Honerable Mention: 1.) Landry Fields / Knicks

    2.) John Wall / Wizards

    3.) DeMarcus Cousins / Kings

    4.) Derrick Favors / Jazz

    5.) Greg Monroe / Pistons

  • Teams picking their spots for the NBA 2011 Playoffs?

    Me & tha crew were chopping it up like usual about the NBA. & my partner told me about his theory of team picking their spots in order to have certain favorable matchups throughout the post-seaon. @ first I rejected that thought, but I started to think......... maybe its possible. Maybe teams are losing games, or pulling players from practice or limited their playing time in order to get a favorable matchup. Now dont get me wrong, it could comeback to bite them severley, but hey what do I know. I'm looking @ the standings & I see a few teams that can benefit from this; "picking their seeds / spots."

    * Boston Celtics

    This one makes sense, if they can stay competitive & hold onto that 3rd seed. They can get a more than favorable matchup w/ the 76ers, in the 1st round. I wont say blowouts, but I can realisticly see them getting them out of there in 4-5 games max. (Sorry 76ers fans reading this.)

    Becuase if they manage to climb back to claim 2nd seed. They'll get the Knicks. & despite the Knicks recent play, they will force someone to 7 games easly, making the opposing team dogmeat heading into the second round.

    Best Case Scenario: Stay competitive & grab the 3rd seed. Its hard to get 2 wins out of TD Garden!

    * San Antonio Spurs

    The defending champ Lakers are gaining on them, & that might be the best thing for them right now. Because, even if they somehow managed to stay @ #1, & navigated their way past the Hornets, or even the Rockets (provided if N.O. slips that far), they will have to run into the winner of Thunder / Nuggets showdown. & either one of those 2 will run them raged out of the arena. Now if they can get the 2nd seed. Then they can holdout pretty decently.

    Best Case Scenario: Slip to 2nd, face Lakers later in conf. finals. Now the question is, can they pull 1 or even 2 wins out of Staples Center.

    What ya'll think?

  • Lakers @ Heat II. T.O.N.I.G.H.T.! Predictions?

    Mario Chalmers vs. Derek Fisher

    - The matchup, consisting of one man who hasnt panned out just yet (Chalmers), versus another man who is clutch, but due to age, can be a defensive liability (Fisher). Now if Mike Bibby was starting, then I would give the nod to the Heat here. I can see throughout the game, Fisher using his vetran instincts by flopping, & making Chalmers pay with wide open 3's.

    * Advantage: Fisher (Lakers)

    Dwyane Wade vs. Kobe Bryant

    - I really want to give the advantage to Wade here, I really do. But I just cant see that happening. Especialy with Kobe wanting revenge from looking bad on x-mas day. It will be a great one on one battle, hell all-the way down to the end, but Kobe will manage to stay all over Wade, therefore preventing him from getting the ball. Look for Kobe to hit all sorts of difficult shots, ala Jordan v2.0!

    * Advantage (small): Kobe (Lakers)

    LeBron James vs. Ron Artest

    - The only question that canbe raised here with this matchup is only two things. 1.) Which Ron Artest will show up?! 2.) If the game is on the line, do you put it back into LeBron's hands with a lockdown defender on him?! With the recent trend thats been going on. I can say that somehow Lakers players & staff will do thier best to keep Ron in-line & force LeBron to beat them! Otherwise if a going-through-the-motions Ron shows up, then it will be a long, long night!

    * Advantage (small): LeBron (Heat)

    Chris Bosh vs. Pau Gasol

    - Bosh really though he was the 'ish when he was actin all tough on x-mas. But Thunder's Kevin Durant & even Celtics' Kevin Garnett have turned him back into what he was, the fakest tough guy in the league. Kobe will be all in Gasol's ear with pregame talk of him being really aggressive! So expect that to happen, because if he doesnt, Gasol will not only look bad by Bosh, but will have to hear it from Kobe in the back post-game!

    * Advantage: Gasol (Lakers)

    Erik Dampier vs. Andrew Bynum

    - The matchup of 2 over-rated bigs that will meet once again. One, who had 1 good yr. (Dampier in contract yr. a lifetime ago) vs. another big who hasnt played more than 75 games since rookie yr. (Bynum in 04-05). The only thing Dampier could probably do is try to flagrant foul even this version of Bynum, from wreaking havoc in the paint. Even LeBron has a better chance of defending Bynum.

    Advantage (big): Bynum (Lakers)

    Heat Bench vs. Lakers Bench

    - The Heat bench has guys that are hardly in rotation, & guys that are shooters & defensive liabilities: (House, Jones, Miller, Bibby, Big Z, & Howard). So they will notbe a factor, look for the Heat bench to supply 12-16 pts at best. Lakers on the other hand, have: (Odom, Brown, Blake, to a very lesser extent Walton). But all they need is a great effort by Odom & a decent effort from the rest.

    * Advantage (Huge): Lakers Bench

    Erik Spoelstra vs. Phil Jackson

    - Spoelstra looks like he is cracking under the pressure, & I really believe it's not his fault, but he will be deemed by mass media & the league (ESPN, & LeBron James & others) as the scapegoat! Phil is the mastermind who is pulling all the strings on his team, & he likes to kick a man when their down. Becuase thats how he rolls!

    * Advantage (Leaps & Bounds): Jackson (Lakers)

    Final Socre:

    Heat 88

    Lakers 94

    P.S.

    Pau: Ok. I'll be ready.

    Fisher: We're ready.

    (Puts hands together in huddle)

    Phil: Sounds like a plan. Put it to action. But make sure Ron does not get that ball!

    * CELTICS:

    Rondo: Ok, I'm going to dish it out to Paul, Paul that should give you enough time to go to the elbow to release the shot.

    Pierce: Sounds good.

    Rondo: But if they double you by the elbow Paul, then Ray that should give you enough time to fight off screens w/ K.G or Perk setting it up & then you got it ok?!

    Ray: Got it.

    Perk: (Brings hands together in huddle) Lets get this win.

    Doc: Now listen guys, your doing beautiful, you dont have to do anything more than what you're doing right now! I know you guys all want to win this, & we can win this, but we got to do it T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R.!

    K.G.: (Pumps chest & screams) HELL YEAH m.o.t.h.e.r. / f.*.c.k.e.r.! LETS GET THIS S.H.1.T.!

    Doc: Ok ladies Ubuntu on 3, Ubuntu on 3.

    All: 1,2,3,..........Ubuntu!

    * SPURS

    Pop: Ok Antonio, inbound in to either Tony or Manu, whoever gets open 1st.

    (McDyesss nods head in approval)

    Pop: After that, if neither one of you can create a shot, then hand it over to Timmy & let him back his man into the post to bank the shot in. Got it.

    All 3: Got it.

    Pop: Now if they get the ball back & there is enough time left on the clock after our shot, they are going to call a timeout. But we got our play set. Manu, I need you to take the charge, only the way you can okay?!

    Manu: I will put my body on the line for the team.

    (Duncan brings hands together in huddle)

    DUncan: Manu were counting on you, lets do it!

    * HEAT:

    Wade: Give me the ball. I got it. I'm ready for this shot.

    LeBron: No, give me the ball. I got it. You've been cold all night. Im ready!

    Wade: You can only get us back into the game, not win it all completely! You just missed that free throw.

    Bosh: (speaks on behalf of Big Z & House) Well what should we do?! You know were wide open.

    Spolestra: Just stand there and watch Wade & LeBron fight over the ball. Ok?!

    (Team leaves to enter the game again, Pat Riley off in the distance taking notes)

    Spolestra: (to assistant) Boy Old Man Riles is going to have to comedownstairs for good in order to fix this s.h.1.t!

    Assistant: (shaking head in agreement) It was nice knowing you!

    This is the reason why there will most likely be a Celtics - Lakers / Celtics - Spurs Finals coming to a TV near you in 2011. Now can the church get an AMEN?!

  • Lakers @ Celtics II. T.O.N.I.G.H.T. Predictions?

    * Rajon Rondo vs. Derek Fisher

    Q.) Who can stop Rajon Rondo?!

    A.) Rajon Rondo.

    Fisher is extremely clutch. But thats just about it. Rondo will run circles around him all day long. Now if they (Lakers staff) were smart, they would put Shannon Brown in for the long stretches. Now as long as Rondo can control his assist / turnonver ratio, he will be just fine.

    - Advantage (big): Rondo (Celtics).

    * Kobe Bryant vs. Ray Allen

    One is 32 (Kobe) & the other is 35 (Ray), & yet both are playing some of the best ball in quite sometime. Kobe will try to fight through screens & maybe running into a "Green & White Wall" feat.Big Baby, Perk & K.G. in order to stop Ray Ray from making 3-pt. history. But on the other end, Ray will try his best to defend what many consider the best player on the planet, even if he is on the way downhill.

    - Advantage (small): Kobe (Lakers).

    * Ron Artest vs. Paul Pierce

    The Unlikely Game 7, 2010 Hero vs. The Truth. Artest is not a good 3-pt shooter. But if you leave him open too many times, he can hit a few. & he will get in Pierce's face & might even take a few "cheap shots" but he wont be a offensive factor. But if Pierce can have Artest follow him over to the weak-side, or pull up in transition, or to the elbow. Then it will be a long afternoon for Artest.

    - Advantage: Even.

    * Kevin Garnett vs. Pau Gasol

    The key matchup. One was embarrassed & emasculated (Gasol) in '08 Finals. The other one was somewhat embarrassed (Garnett) in '10 Finals. K.G. is looking like 95% of the guy who helped them win it all in '08, & thats really saying something. Gasol on the other hand, has shown flashes. But w/ the K.G. revenge world tour in full effect, I can see history repeating itself again!

    - Advantage (real small): K.G. (Celtics)

    * Andrew Bynum vs. Kendrick Perkins

    One is over-rated, injury-prone & who hasnt played more than 75 games since rookie yr. (7 yrs. ago.) The other one is not a offensive threat coming off MCL / ACL injury. Perkins WILL NOT provide too much offensively, & he doesnt need to. All he is there to do is prevent even this version of Bynum from wreaking havoc in the paint both offensively & defensively.

    - Advantage. Even.

    * Lakers Bench vs. Celtics Bench

    Lakers Bench only knows how to come up big on the home floor, not away. They only factors they have are: Shannon Brown, & Lamar Odom. Now Matt Barnes is an offensive liability,but he wont play, & Steve Blake is a defensive liability, so they both cant be on the floor for too long. Meanwhile the Celtics bench features:Big Baby Davis, Nate, Von Wafer & Semih Erden (provided if he plays). That can get the stops when needed & all now how to perform big wether at home, or on the road!

    - Advantage (big): Celtics Bench.

    * Phil Jakckson vs. Doc Rivers

    11x NBA Champion Phil Jackson, in recent yrs. doesnt make too many game-2-game adjustments. Sorry but thats the truth. Now on the other hand Rivers, a 1x NBA Champ, is 1 of 2 coaches (along w/ Greg Poppovich) who knows how to make the game-2-game adjustments. So even though Boston looked like they gave it away aganist the Bobcats. Rivers knows what to do!

    - Advantage: Rivers (Celtics).

    It will be close but I see it as:

    C.E.L.T.I.C.S. (97-92)

    Enjoy the game. What you think?!

  • Cavaliers vs. Wizards, should it be televised?

    Should this game be Nationaly Televised at last min, like on TNT or ESPN?! Hell, I think it should! What about you?

    * LeBron James' Comments:

    “Something has to give when they play the Wizards,” said two-time reigning NBA MVP LeBron James(notes), whose departure from Cleveland for Miami has led to the Cavs’ stunning collapse in their first season without him, on Tuesday night after the Heat beat Indiana at home. “I think that should be a nationally televised game, honestly.”

    * Tracy McGrady's Comments:

    “You don’t want to be the team that loses to them,” Tracy McGrady(notes) said. “Tim Legler, we heard you. You gave us some bulletin board material. We used that.”

    Like James, McGrady is looking forward to seeing the Cavs-Wizards tilt.

    “As crazy as it sounds, I want to see them and Washington play,” McGrady said. “I don’t wish anyone to have a bad losing streak, but I want them to get to Washington, 0-and-whatever they could be, and see whose streak ends. That would be something that would be interesting to watch.”

    So what you think?!

  • Should Dwight Howard stop mocking players?

    You know the question. Let me know what you think!

    Here they are @ the bottom.

    * Dwight mocks LeBron James former pregame ritual of taking pictures w/ team-mates & invisible camera, during final seasons w/ the Cavs.

    - End Result: LeBron drops 51, Heat win.

    * Next game, Dwight mock K.G.'s pre-game ritual of beating chest & pumping up the TD Garden crowd.

    - End Result: After completly dominating the entire 1st half, Howard was a non-factor in the 2nd half & K.G. posted a double-double in a Celtics win.

  • Which NBA story-line dialouge should I use?

    Hello, you guys probably know me for creating those funny dialouge converstaions: (Heat Players Only Meeting, & LeBron game-time decision vs. Cavs) earlier this yr. You guys loved it & wanted me to create more. Well here is your chance. There are 10 real-life (well some are) NBA storylines going on right now, the one you pick (w/ most votes) is the one I will use to create in my own little crazy, wacky world! Let the party begin!

    And here they are:

    01.) * Magic winning & losing every other game:

    - Last 14 games: 7 wins / 7 losses.

    02.) * Knicks not being able to close out recent games.

    03.) * A conference call conversation between various All-Star snubs: Shaq, L. Odom, L.M. Aldridge, S. Nash, R. Felton & others.

    04.) * LA Lakers losing the big games so far to top teams: (Supurs 3x's, Celtics, Heat & Mavs)

    - & Kobe calling out certian players in recent weeks.

    - Artest trade rumors.

    05.) * Suns having a "Players & Coaching Staff Only" meeting before they faced the Celtics weeks ago.

    - Also, mgmt. tryin to see what can they do w/ S.Nash.

    06.) * Brandon Jennings complaining to Bucks mgmt. about playing time he's received since returning from injury.

    - Quote: "If I'm playing limited mins. I might as well not be playing at all!"

    07.) * Cavs losing 24 straight.

    - Coach Scott is having a few 6-packs at night.

    08.) * LaMarcus Aldridge keeping the Blazers playoff hopes alive despite injuries.

    09.) * A conference call conversation between players that have been embarrassed by Blake Griffin so far.

    10.) * Heat's Chris Bosh holding a meeting w/ the other "Fake Tough Guys" in the league.

    Well these are your options. The one with the most votes win. So let me know which storyline should I use as a dialouge for all of you! lol let it begin! The one that gets picked, is the one I will create in a few days.
