Whats the truth about the HPV jab?
My daughter has brought home a consent form for the HPV jab. I've been doing some research into the side effects of the vaccine - as this was my wife's main concern, but, more worryingly, I have found reports that HPV doesn't actually cause cervical cancer!? (see attached link)

What is the truth?
I just want what is best for my daughter.
No opinions - just facts please!!
6 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoHow do I find my perfect job?
I'm 35 years old, I have a 'good' job with a 'good' company - thing is, I've kind of got here by being in the wrong place at the wrong time, it's been like a snowball gathering momentum rolling downhill. Don't get me wrong, I've been quite content, but never truly happy.
I've hopped jobs 4 times in the past 6 years to try and find that 'perfect' job, but I only ever stay within the field I've developed in, and end up right back at square one. I'm loosing motivation, and not performing as well as I want to.
I want a radical change, but I don't know specifically what it is I want to do. I'm worried that I'm going to move into something else similar because I'm limited by what I know - my perfect job could be something completely different..............
Where do I start?? Can I match myself to a job somehow? Who can I talk to?
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoWho invented words??
Fore example..... who was the first person to say the word 'amazing'?? in what context was it used, what was he referring to? and did his mate question the word the just made up??
Could I make up a new word and give it a meaning? How would I go about getting it recognised, and added to the Oxford English dictionary?
That question has zorclunged me for years....
8 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoNew wedding ring blessing??
My wife and I have been married for nearly 11 years, when we got married we could only afford cheap wedding rings.
We always promised ourselves, that one day we would buy the Welsh gold rings of our dreams, which at the time we couldn’t afford.
We have recently been lucky enough to buy a couple of ‘Clogau’ Welsh rings to replace the originals, but we want to do something to make the replacement 'official' without having a big ceremony.
We both want to do something special and maybe a bit different, which would help transfer some of the sentimental value of the original rings to the new ones (at least in our minds!).
What can we do??

1 AnswerMovies1 decade agoCareer change help!?
Help! I want want a complete career change, but don't know where to start.
My direction has 'snowballed' since I left school, to the point I'm at now. I am in 'lean manufacturing' and Six Sigma with a major aerospace manufacturer. I have worked in a couple of major automotive manufacturing companies previously, but I could never honestly say that I've been happy in my job. I feel 'pigeon holed' because I've come so far down the path I'm on, but I've grown to dislike what I do so much, it's making me deeply unhappy.
The problems are 1) I'm not sure what it is exactly I want to do, 2) I'm sure that I won't be able to earn a similar salary if I start from scratch in a new field, and 3) I'm the sole provider in a family of 5, so my actions will affect not just me, but my familiy too.
I just want to go to work and be happy. I want to enjoy, and feel fulfilled by the job I do, and, I don't want to get stressed out any more!
Simple request really – but where on earth do I start?
4 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade ago'Drumsite' and associated sample CD's - HELP?
Does anyone know how to use Drumsite?? (PC drum arranging software). I don't know how to import the samples off the CD I bought with it!
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoWhat's the best PC based drum machine?
I'm looking for a realistic, and totally customisable 'drum machine' for PC based home recording. I want the samples to be as close to a standard percussion drum kit as possible.
Any ideas or reviews?? P.S I've got 'FruityLoops', but find it a bit of a pain!
3 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoDriving a powerful rear wheel drive sports car?
I'm considering buying a second-hand TVR Chimaera. I know a car like this will be very different, and require a whole different approach to driving.
I used to work for Bentley, and have many hours of driving experience in Continental GT's, Flying Spurs, and Arnage's, but, although these cars are fast and powerful, they are also loaded with safetly equipment, so are very safe and even a relative novice could drive them.
What could I do, or where could I go to learn about driving a car such as the Chimaera?
I want to be confident and capable of handling the car in all situations - including recovering from the back-end accidently sliding out on public roads!
Is it simply a matter of respect, or is there more to it than that?
6 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoWhat second hand sports car should I buy?
I'm thinking of buying a second-hand 'play thing' car. Mainly for use at weekends, the objective will be to put a smile on my face, and make me go 'wooaaaahhh...' when I accelerate. I want something that really makes me feel good to be in - something maybe a little 'different' that I can treasure for years. My budget is £15k maximum! Suggestions please....
