can i connect two ethernet cables into one for a doubled speed, or is that not how ethernet works

I have tried the command prompt/powershell DISM thing, I have tried sfc /scannow, I have tried enabling it in "Turn Windows Features On or Off", and the microsoft .net framework installation fixer. I have tried pretty much every thing. I have tried several times all giving me an error code of 0x80073712 and it says "component store has been corrupted"

When I plug in my computer, it starts up and the fans go then it just shuts down and the power button on the chasis and mobo does nothing.

I have a dell dxg061 motherboard and it stopped working, I know its old and stuff, don't yell at me. I have nTune on my hard drive and i though it may be that because i over clocked my hardware, I played around with the ram settings and I think that may have caused this. I also got a new CPU, its clockrd a bit lower (new one is 2.4ghz d one is 3ghz) I had the CPU clocked to 3.5ghz and I think that may have helped. I burnt the 3ghz one and i dont think it works anymore. Does ntune still OC even with no operating system? Or is it something else?

I was trying to install DD-WRT on my Linksys WRT54G router. I was following the instructions and i cycled the power and when I plugged it back in, the power light was flashing and the WLAN light wasn't coming on (it was earlier). I get no ping in command prompt, I can't reinstall the firmare, I have no idea what to do! Please help me!

I have a core 2 quad and a Pentium d CPU for the lga 775 socket but the socket only supports up to a 800mhz fsb and the core 2 is a 1066mhz fsb, so you can see my problem. Is there a way to mad the CPU or the socket so they are compatible?

I recently brought a computer back from the dead and it has a Pentium D and its really slow, it has a super beefy cooler, its a Dell XPS, and i wondering if there is a program for windows to easily overclock my CPU. My northbridge is a nforce 4 intel edition, and my southbridge is a nforce 590 sli on a dell OYF432 mobo. I have checked and the only overclocking thing in the BIOS is just to allow overclocking.

Is there a website where I can download the iso for windows xp sp3, preferably a retail copy. I have a broken copy of like, frakenwindows (what I mean is that it has some files from another OEM copy of windows xp sp3, and it is and OEM version). I have tried rc.iso but my mono won't boot it or the Iso on Microsofts website. My motherboard is from a dell xps 700 I think, I'm not too sure.

I have a computer with a broken copy of windows xp sp3, and a laptop with a working copy of windows xp sp3. Is there a way I can fix the broken one with the other one, with like a file transfer or something. Btw I think both are OEM, if that makes any difference.

I have a hard drive with a broken copy or windows xp and I'm trying to fix the installation with freedos because I have a tried pretty much every iso on the internet and and it won't boot. So how do I repair/boot into iso that motherboard won't automatically recognize to fix windows xp?

I have a hdd with a damged copy of windows, it wont boot into anything. Is there an iso or something that will fix my installation so I can get my files off and update to a newer version of windows.

I am building a new computer and I'm trying to find a program that detects my hardware and updates the drivers automatically.

My 44 inch (I think) a RCA flat screen TV recently has been having problems. The side buttons don't work, the only thing I can do on the remote is turn it on and off, I've replaced the batteries, unpluged and replugged in the TV, I have no idea what to do plz help.

I have an old dell xps 710 (I think its a 710) and when I put my core 2 quad Q6700 and when I put it my motherboard (it is the motherboard that came with it) and the USB ports don't work, I'm not sure if that's all it does, my os is broken.
