How to deal with this situation?
1 AnswerFamily6 years agoWhy does my mom treat me like I am an irresponsible toddler?
I am a college student who is about to turn 19 and I get treated like a 4 year old by my parents. I a 4.0 GPA and work part time all while cooking meals for myself and basically living on my own except in my parent's house. Yet, when I have to do laundry or make my own dinner my mom basically hovers over my shoulder waiting for me to mess up and instructs me how to do it. It is frustrating and I am tired of it, but I don't feel ready to move out on my own, and frankly my wallet isn't either. My question is why does my mom decide to baby step me through every single one of lifes hoops, and how can I get this to stop?

1 AnswerInjuries7 years agoWhat are your arguments for, and against god?
I want to hear them, so I can prepare for a debate. The best answer that I read will obviously get the best answer. I am solely looking for your opinion supported by details and evidence. Also, please leave the website your pulled your information from. I really do not want your evidence to be "the bible". That is known as Faction (fictional story taken place during actual events). Thank you!
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoHow exactly do circuit boards work?
I get that they flow the electricity through each other, but what I do not understand is exactly how you put a bunch of wires on a green thing and it makes a circuit that can be connected to a monitor. I may be missing a lot of information, but this is why I am asking a question

4 AnswersHistory8 years agoWhat project should i do?
In my school, we have a graduation project. I have a conflict where I cannot deside between a few different projects. I either want to:
Build a working RC Plane
Modify a bicycle so that it is pneumatic
or
Build an Air Compressed catapult.
Each project has to have a research paper, so if you think i should do the catapult, please give me a research paper topic to write with it.
Thanks in advance

1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts8 years agoWhat is soo bad about internet piracy?
I understand the fact you are stealing, but the majority of the torrents I download I have either purchased in the past or plan to purchase. A lot of people that I know merely torrent a game to test it out before buying it, because paying $60.00 is a hefty price tag for a potential piece of garbage. Can someone else please explain to me why the U.S. government is cracking down on it, and why it is wrong.
4 AnswersOther - Computers8 years agoHow to I restore faith in humanity?
Normally, I see stupid crap, and just look the other way, just hoping some alien race will knock us out with some kind of biological weapon, but With the news media blasting the Zimmerman garbage out like its actually flipping important, I haven't been able to do so. I am sure all of you have heard and beared witness to the Zimmerman Trial, and have your own opinions on the outcome. Personally I don't give a flying fish about your opinion on the matter. With the media shadowing every bit of action on this case, we all are practically forced to listen to it. I generally lay down in my bed at night, watch a movie, and fall asleep, but after reading some potentially suicide inducing comments from some of my fellow Earthians, I have lost a lot of faith that humanity isn't just a complete waste of space and a sack of garbage waiting to implode on itself.
I am probably just grouchy, which happens when I don't get my coffee in the morning and stay up too late, but How do you cope with your issues on these matters? and does anyone else out there experience a little bit of the feelings that feel?

12 AnswersMovies8 years agoHow to find local Buddhist center's around me?
Does anyone know of a good website to find them, or of any Buddhist temples at or around Elizabeth City, NC, and Virginia Beach, VA.
I am very interested in Buddhism, and have discovered that the best way to learn is to take it slow, and find a good Mentor.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoStill confused about Buddhism :(?
I unfortunately live in an area around a lot of people who are intolerable of other's religions. All of the people around me are Catholics, and the only Buddhist person I know just moved away. I have decided that I want to practice a Non-theistic form of Buddhism. I also am afraid to tell my parents, because they look down upon everything bad I do.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAm I too young to practice Buddhism?
I know this question sounds really dumb, but am I really to young to start? I have started meditating, but I am not sure if I should be studying the teachings more, or if I should just worry about schooling. I am 17, and have decided to study Buddhism over my summer vacation.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoHow to start practicing Buddhism?
I am really interested in how the teachings of Buddha can help me better my life. Can you recommend any good books, and also where I can meet others who practice Buddhism. I live around Virginia Beach, Virginia.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs this a fair trade?
I have a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder. It is in okay condition, but needs new tires and the paint is chipped in a couple of places. My step dad on the other hand has a 1995 Toyota 4Runner. Both vehicles have well over 150K miles. They both have a v6. The Pathfinder is RWD while the 4Runner is 4WD. The only thing my stepdad uses the 4runner for is to tow his boat, which the pathfinder can tow as well. So would you say this is a fair trade?
