I'm 14 and going to be a freshman in a month at an international academy. I've wanted a Mac for a while, mostly because I like Apple products.. not even for any specific reason. But I do enjoy using iMovie for projects and things. I also use Itunes a lot, although you can still use it on a PC, which I currently have. I'm just wondering, is purchasing a much more expensive laptop worth it for someone like me who would enjoy it and use it often, but may not need it? Or should I just stay with my Toshiba laptop?

i have a silicone one from kate spade from nordstrom that cost around $40 and i wanted a cuter one that was a bit less expensive. any online shopping places to get cute iphone 4 cases for around $15?

So I'm doing a project where I need the six central tendencies (median, mode, mean, range, minimum, maximum) of data that I gather. I recorded boy's shoe size in my grade and then came up with final data:

Size 7: 6

Size 8: 9

Size 9: 5

Size 10: 3

Size 11: 4

Size 12: 2

Size 13: 2

Size 14: 1

Size 15: 3

I'm not sure how I would find the mean or anything. I need to find the average shoe size. Help?

I'm trying to teach myself how to play songs on the piano. I love to sing and have been doing it for years. Are there any songs that are fairly easy to play and that have good lyrics? I've already learned clocks by coldplay and boston by augustana. i can handle most difficulties but the easier the better. and fun! thanks:)

So i met this guy once and he's a friend of a friend. He lives like an hour away and besides when we hung out once, we've only texted. The problem is that he has really strong feelings for me and it shows. Alot. But I don't want him to be crushed if he finds out i don't like him back. Should i tell him or just play along? Please help. And if i tell him, how do I say it? I don't want him to get mad but i don't want to keep leading him on.

Ok so here's how the story starts: my bestest friend in the whole world and i are just having a great time. Then (trying to kinda keep this short and simple) she becomes really good friends with this girl ellie and i start to feel left out. I try to become better friends with ellie... which then causes my best friend sandra to feel left out. Sandra becomes close friends with some girls who already didn't like me (not sure why but just go with it). They start to be mean to me saying that i made sandra cry (which i had NO intention of doing AT ALL considering the fact that nobody, including sandra, had told me she was mad at me). So then, having lost my best friend and having multiple people mad at me for something they weren't even involved in, I decided to cling to ellie. Ellie and I became great friends because she was there for me. So then a few days later i decide to apologize and talk to sandra. We decide to try to be friends again. Then today i find out that she disabled her Facebook account and was mad at me YET AGAIN because she felt like i was excluding her for ellie. I understand if you can't find a solution to the whole problem but maybe if you have any advice i would really really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Ok so in my PE class we are required to make up a tumbling routine. I am not very flexible and I can barely do a "forward roll" or what I like to call, a somersault. Pretty much rolling over on the ground. My sequence so far is an egg roll, a log roll, a side shoulder roll from a push-up position, and a spinal rock, but i need 2 more. Can somebody recommend an easily executed tumble? PLEASE???

My mom is kind of weird about me doing stuff on the computer. She won't let me have a facebook. I am in 7th grade and think that there would be no problem with me having a facebook. I mean she has one for goodness sake. Is there any way I can have one and she wouldn't know. Or are their good ways to disguise my identity?

Ok so this guy is really funny and is a complete clown. The problem is that when you want him to be serious, he isn't. So I kept bugging him about how he liked my best friend, and one day he texted me that he didn't like her. So I thought about it and asked him who he liked. He said I can't tell you that, so asked him why, and he said he didn't want to tell anybody. So then I asked him why he couldn't tell me, and he didn't really have an answer.

So I though to myself that maybe he liked me. Then, hoping to find out more (just out of curiosity), I asked him to give me a hint. It took him a while but he said the girl he liked had brown hair (which i do), then he said she had no freckles (but i actually do... but later he told me that he lied about that part), so I said o so it isn't me. Then he said, "well maybe it's you but i don't know." I kept asking him, because I really wanted to know. So then I asked him to tell me the second letter of the girls last name... he said too obvious. So then he said, "fine... do you want the truth?" So I obviously replied yes.

He responded by going "L" then "A", "U"... until he spelled out my name. Then at the end he wrote enzo (to spell Laurenzo... i think. Plus I don't even know a Lorenzo.) which I think he used to cover it up. Then I said so you do like me, to which he replied, "no I said Laurenzo not Lauren." I finally got annoyed and gave up.

So the next day at school, I asked him about it and he wouldn't even look me in the eye. So later that day I texted him saying, "do you like me?", to which he said no. Then I asked him who he did like, and he replied, "well... actually..."! So I asked him why he wouldn't tell me, to which he replied that he didn't want me knowing, so I said why. He didn't answer my question but instead said, "again, maybe it's you"

Ok so I really, really, REALLY like this guy, let's call him M. I am pretty good friends with M and he knows I like him because I asked my friend to tell him I like him, but he doesn't know that I asked her to (middle school girls... what are you going to do?). Here's how the conversation went:

Friend: Lauren likes you, you know.

M: Oh ok cool.

Friend: You two would make a cute couple. You should ask her out.

M: I would but I can't.

He actually said he would ask me out! But his mom is really strict which is like the total opposite of him. She doesn't want him having a girlfriend and she even monitors his texts. Here's my dilemma though: when ever I text him something like "hey," he never responds. I don't know what this means. Please help!
