Why do jewish women have to wear skirts?
i have heard that they cant show the shapes of their legs as it is shown when wearing pants. but what i dont get is that i have seen many of them wearing skirts up to their knees with their bare legs showing? does this mean that they only have to cover their thighs? i mean if the purpose of wearing skirts is to be modest than how is it being modest if your legs are showing?
