  • How can i grant the process running php access and execute command crontab?

    Hi!

    I have a dedicated server with root access. In that server i m preparing a php script that will allow admin users to change cron setting via that php script.

    I m trying shell_exec('crontab -l') to list existing cron entries and shell_exec('crontab filename') to instruct cron to use 'filename' contents as new cron entries.

    The problem is as php runs under nobody, my php script can't access crontab command.

    I just want to grant user nobody the full access to crontab command ONLY

    But i couldn't figure out a way yet :)

    So, any help will be very appreciated.

  • If i restore my hp laptop to factory settings will it erase entire hard drive?

    Hi! I have a hp pavilion dv6000 series laptop. I have special drive on my hard disk from where i can restore my pc to original factory settings.

    My question is, if i do restore to original factory settings, will it erase all my partitions? will all my project files, games, pics and songs will be erased from the non os partition?

    Please help! Since i need to restore my PC to original settings ASAP
