I just bought a pair of black leather mid-calf boots, and I want to wear them soon. However, it's hot right now, and I don't really know for sure whether it is a good idea to wear them or not.

I've always been a shy girl. If I was in a room full of people, I could go unnoticed. I Never really made an effort to make friends. The only friends I had were there because they insisted to be there for me, not because I actually wanted them to be there. My parents think that I never made many lasting friendships because I'm too apathetic to care about others who I think have nothing to do with me, and as much as I want to disagree and say "No, I care about other people," I know deep down inside that I really am a bit apathetic. It has gotten so bad to the point that I can't seem to tell others how I feel because displaying any deep emotion is like trying to run through a brick wall. Is this something I need to get help for?
