5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoGood Humor for Die Hard believers.?
I look at hard core believers like this. Someone gave you a ice cream cone. Instead of enjoying the actual treat, You put it down on the table and turn to thank the person who gave you said ice cream. After hours of praise you turn and find your ice cream has melted away. My question is, why is thanking the creator much more important than just naturally enjoying the gift of life?

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoThings just arent adding up.?
I recently asked a fews questions in prep for this one. Contrary to religious beliefs, people are fine with murder. They say they believe you should follow the commandments but are quite find with breaking it. I asked people the definition of murder. Then I asked if the death penalty could be considered self-defense, in attempts to let them off the hook. Seems like a lot of fundie are down with the death penalty. Strange. Then I asked is an eye for an eye a decent punishment. To me almost everything that they were okay with went against what their scripture said. Do you think I am just looking at this all wrong?
Here are the questions posted plus the answers. Too many of them are contradictory to what people say they believe.
