I am an ordained minister with a non-denominational organization. My basic beleifs can be compared to a cross between the Southern Baptist and the Assembly of God for lack of a more simple example. I am the father of two grown sons and have been happily married since 1980. I have been a home school dad and teacher as well as an assistant admin. with a home school supervisory group ( not currently) cumutively for the past 22 years. I have two AA degrees, one in Education and one in Psychology and am currently work on my BA in child development and psychology.
Is there a good dietary supplement to help with my friends dry skin?
My small dog has a problem with dry skin. We limit his bathing and brush him daily. We also use anti-itch cream and other otc mrds for hot spots. What would be a good dietary supplement for him

I have my blood sugars under control FINALLY. I do have problems though with severe pain from peripheral neuropathy.and do not wish to use narcotic pain meds. Lyrica and Cymbalta do not work for me. I am taking 1200 mg of gabapentin 2x daily. Are there any supplements that would help, either vitamin, mineral, or herbal?

I have seen it in the grocery store but have never eaten it before. I am diabetic and trying to make some good changes in my diet. I used to be a meat, potato, and bread sort of eater, however I have reduce my red meat and plain potato consumption to about a third of what it used to be. I would also appreciate any serious comments or suggestions in the fruit and veggie arena. By the way I have lost almost lbs in the last two and a half years.

I will never be a strict vegan, ( no slight intended.) I am trying to eliminate animal proteins in my diet for medical reasons. Purine content to be exact. My body does not seem to metabolize it very well. I just am having trouble finding a diet plan to meet what I need. I am diabetic, with high blood pressure, severe gout and kidney stones among other problems. jimminy crickets this gets depressing!!!
