a) how many additional men are needed in order to complete laying tiles on the floor of area 12000m^2 2 days earlier?

Given that n men take d days to lay tiles on a floor of area 20000m^2,

b) express n in terms of d.

Given that ah=ab-bh, express b in terms of a and h.

These are 5 out of the 50 questions I was set that I don't know how to do... I swear I've attempted them.

1. h-4(h^2)-4+(h^3)

2. (((a^2)-9)^2)-16

3. 64-((c^2)-(d^2))^2

4. 4cd-4d-5c+5

5. 2(x^2)-2(y^2)-5x+5y

If you could help me (preferably with steps to show how you did it), I'd be so grateful.

I've done everything except these two questions...

Simplify:

(4ab^2/6a^2b)*(((ab)^2)/2)

and

((3mn-9n)/5)/((m-3)^3)/15)

Also, the other value of x that satisfies 2x^2 - 3x + k = 0

This is the last question and I'm stuck on it. So frustrated. Thank you, if you can help me. It'd be great if you could explain your steps with a line or two but you don't have to if you don't want to.

What's a reciprocal, and will you explain to me how to solve this? it's an example question and i'm just starting a new topic (Grade 5).

1) 6x^2-5x=6 (i know this simplifies into 6x^2-5x-6=0, but that's pretty much it. :/)

2) 3/(5*x+1)-(5/x)=0
