Do you believe in the Prophecy of the Popes?
Some people are saying that Pope Francis is supposed to be the last Pope before end times. According to St. Malachy's prophecy, which has been labeled as a lie by the Catholic church. True or not, it is fascinating that there can never be a Pope Peter II as it is this pope that is supposed to be the last. Also fascinating is that Francis is the first ever Jesuit Pope. Any thoughts???
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoEvolution or Devolution:Degeneration?
Without a doubt evolution is real. However, a question to ponder is... are we, as a species actually evolving? I'm not talking about growing another thumb or another dna strand, I am talking about intellectually. Our species has proven itself "plentiful" by reproducing at such a high rate, but are we actually devolving ourselves into extinction? Is this the way nature works?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoThe many names of God...?
Jeshua, Yashua, Yahweh, Jehovah... Are these names of the same God that correspond with different religious texts or is this proof of other gods? Hence the biblical verse "thou shall have no other gods before me". If this is so, then is God an Elohim (Son of God)?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy cant we give a thumbs down on a stupid question?
I read plenty of them all the time. Do you think people should lose points for asking ridiculous questions?
3 AnswersMythology & Folklore10 years ago"Religulously" speaking...Do you agree with this?
"The Christian resolve to find the world evil and ugly, has made the world evil and ugly."
- Friedrich Nietzsche
"Religulously" has been used in the place of Religiously, on purpose.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhen was Lucifer cast out of heaven to Earth?
I am confused, as according to the bible it was after he tempted Eve to eat from the tree. However, it was also said that it was after he tried to rebel against God. Enlighten me, please! And why would God put Lucifer or Satan (his Earthly name) inside his created perfect world, to destroy the creations that he loved so much?
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoIs there anywhere in the bible that says animals will act crazy in the end times?
A kangaroo attacks a woman in Australia. Black Buzzards attacking and killing newborn calves. I have noticed the birds are acting crazy. Has anyone else noticed anything weird with wild animals?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhy is it that light is considered good and how is light compared with knowledge?
If God created the light out of darkness and he saw it was good, then how is it that a human searching for enlightenment is sinning? IOW, if light = knowledge and light is good, in God's eyes light = knowledge is bad (sin)? In God's eyes???

What are your thoughts on the The Law of Mentalism? “THE ALL is MIND; The Universe is Mental.”
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhy are there Atheists in the R&S?
I mean, really. This is for discussion on Religion and Spirituality, so why do they bother if they have no beliefs?
26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhy did God "rename" his chosen people?
What was the point in changing Abrams name to Abraham? Sarai to Sarah? Jacob to Israel? Just trying to figure out if they indeed changed their names themselves to conceal their true identities after all their deception.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoDefine Abortion and Murder...?
When and at what point does it go from abortion to murder? Just wondering. A local woman murdered her 2 newborn twins right after birth.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWho was God talking to when he said...?
The man has now become like one of us knowing good & evil. He must not be allowed to take from the tree of life and eat and live forever? Gen 3:22
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoHow can eating "fruit" cause you to gain knowledge?
This refers of course to Adam & Eve's eating from the tree of knowledge of good & evil. What is the symbolic meaning of "fruit"?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoGenesis...The Story of Creation. But what about Lilith?
In Genesis CH 1 VS 27, the sixth day it says god created man in his own image, in the image of god he created him; male and female, he created them.
Then he rested on the seventh day...
In Genesis CH 2 VS 20-22 I says so the man gave name to all the livestock, the birds of the air and the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21. So the lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 22. The lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
If God created male & female on the sixth day, why did he have to create Eve from Adams rib, after his seventh day of rest? Does this not prove that the story of Lilith was intentionally left out of the scriptures? What would be the purpose in doing so? What does no "suitable" helper mean?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoIn the bible it talks about the sons of god and the daughters of men...?
So was Rebekah so beautiful that Isaac had to lie and say she was his sister to keep from being killed? I know she was his half sister. The king being in fear, paid Isaac and gave him Rebekah to leave because of his fear of Isaacs God. What about Jacobs wife Rachel, she was so beautiful the same thing happened again? This father and son both were deceitful and that was how they earned their riches. Is this deceit right, according to the bible? Was it right for Isaac and Jacob, but not for us?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoHow did a goat, ram or any other sacrified animal atone for human sins?
Isn't it strange? There were all these sacrifices and at times, innocent virgin women were sacrificed to the gods in mythology. This is just one similarity to mythology and religion. Very confusing.
