I have had previous blood clots caused by Thoracic Outlet Syndrome in both arms and had to have a First Rib Resection done on each side. I was on warfarin and various blood thinning injections for quite some time and the problem got solved months and months later.

I now however am experiencing similar pain and in my right leg and it's gotten worse over the past few weeks. I've noticed a yellowish bruising starting to appear in the area where it is particularly sore and tender. My leg feels tingly and my foot feels cold.

I'm almost CERTAIN it is a blood clot but I can only get to the doctor in exactly one week from now because of money problems.

How big of a risk am I taking by leaving it for another 7 days and what, if any, are your recommendations??

I am only 20 years old but I am a heavy drinker and have a very unhealthy diet. Should I be worried? Could this pain be related to bad posture, bad sleeping positions or something to do with my heart? It makes me worry and I keep the emergency number on speed dial just in case I get a heart attack or something sudden and serious. Is there any advice that I can get from anyone? My ribs feel bruised and sore to the touch, so that makes me wonder if it is a posture thing, since I spend a majority of my day in front of the computer. The pain feels wide spread though, almost felt a lil into my under arm. Some mornings I wake up and the left side of my chest and my left arm feels swollen and sore. I don't have the money to go to the doctor at the moment, but I am tired of worrying about this. Pulmonary Embolism? Aortic Dissection? Angina? I really need some kind of closure.

Over the past few days, i've experienced sudden, sharp onsets of pain on my sternum and also just to the left side of it. I also am experiencing a slight amount of tightness and discomfort along with the pain. I am only 20 years old and I don't smoke, and like to think of myself as not the most unhealthy person out there. I've been experiencing pain in my left under arm and down my left arm too, but usually only after waking up in the morning. I think the arm pain is caused by me sleeping on my side, and i'm not sure whether it is related. I'm very worried and I'm incredibly anxious since this has started happening. What could it be?

I found a dead Hedgehog in our garden, tried to pick it up through a plastic bag and got a small prick in my thumb. It bled a little but I put anti bacterial stuff on my finger directly afterwards. Is there any chance I'd get a disease or anything? And what would be the symptoms?
