Why do most bills never get out of the committee or subcommitee?

I went to planned parenthood to get a pap-smear September 1st, they just called me telling me I had cells in my cervix that can become cancer, is this what they call cervical cancer? She told me to go back in one year to get another pap-smear to check on it. She said it is nothing major but I am really really worried. Do you get this by only having intercourse. I have had 2 different partners both men and I am 18yrs old. I really need some help please I am very worried, should I be? Is there anything I need to look out for.

I started the pill on September 2, 2009, and have been experiencing some cramping and sore breasts, is this to be expected, or maybe my period if I get it it should be around the 16th of this month. Thank you.

Barely started birth control, I have a few questions.?

I started birth control this morning (the pill). I had unprotected sex Sunday August 23, and Saturday August 29, my last period was August 16 I should be expecting it September 15, or 16. On Monday August 31, I took Plan B. My question is what can my chances be sinceI really dont know if I am gonna have my period when I should get it.

SO i just got my bottom left side of my lip pierced, a stud and I need to know how to keep it clean and also I am really worrying about the inside of my lip it looks bruised around the back part of the lip ring is that normal or should i do something about it? thank you.

My 18th birthday is coming right around the corner and I have no idea if my parents are planning anything for me. I am about to graduate high school and I don't think they have anything planned for that either, I say all of this because I just recently got my braces off and the day they did my dad had to pay right then and there 500 dollars for my retainer than a day before my birthday May 6th I go to a surgeon to see about my wisdom teeth coming out, they haven't even come in that will be another $2000, and on top of all of this my senior year has been very very expensive. I am not saying I am ungrateful, because I am very grateful for everything I have my parents go above and beyond for me and my brothers to make sure that we have what we want and need. But I just don't want my 18th birthday to go by like just a regular day that happened on my 15th, 16, and 17th birthday. What can I do and how could I go about talking to them about this. Knowing my parents we will just have cake and Ice cream which is ok with me but I want something that I will never forget. I already have a car so I know that won't be a surprise.

Ok so me and my best friend have known eachother since we were in diapers we have been through thick and thin. We are exactly alike in almost every way. We have the same hair style same cars but different colors, same shoe size pant size shirt size everything, same styles in clothes!!! and we don't do this on purpose trust me we have gone through stage of " Oh let's get the same shirt made and wear it to school" sort of thing. Well I have had my prom dress for a week today, well last night she was texting me telling me she got her prom dress, I told her great send me a picture well she said she isnt supposed to get it till friday, well I told her what does it look like, she said pink and white I told her mine is pink and white she told me hers was short I told her mine was short, she said hers was strapless, I told her mine is strapless, she said hers was puffy I told her mine was puffy, she said hers had rhinestones on the side I told her mine had that too. Well she came over cause she lives down the street and IT"S THE SAME DAMN DRESS!!!!! She bought hers at this store that sells wannabes of real designers dress' I bought mine form the designers website she bought hers for $100 and I bought mine for $300 online. What do I do prom is right around the corner. I Was so upset last night because this is exaclty what I didnt want to happen someone at prom have the exact same dress as me, oh and to make things better we are going together so when we walk on people are gonna loook at us and think we did that totally on purpose and we didnt!

I need help a lot, I was supposed to start my period yesterday and I never did I waited for it today and still nothing I might cramp very lightly for like not even 2 minutes I am not even discharging or anything I have sex on the weekends and that is the really the only time. The only pregnancy sign I can think of that I am feeling is my boobs are a little soar and I don't know if it is just in my mind, but my stomach feels weird not like when I touch it. Other than that really nothing when I get off of work i am going to take a test at home but I would like to have your opinion thanks.

I am about to turn 18 in May and when I was 17 I met a guy that was at the time 19, well he barely turned 20 in Novemeber I still haven't forgotten about him and he still hasn't forgotton about me well my ada wouldnt let us be together because of the age difference I am hoping once I turn 18 my dad will allow it and just let me be happy. What do you think. I am gonna tell him that he texted me asking to take me to dinner and to meet my parents. They wouldn't allow it because I had barely got of a really bad relationship with and older guy not much older but older and I was "mature" enough to really tell them how he was to me and thier thinking this guy is gonna be the same and to be God honest he really isn't! Please tell me your opinion and things that would help him to allow it and accept him.
