I was reading a recipe from a Canadian site and I am not sure what the recipe meant when it called for "6 x 6 egg yolks". Since I know that the recipe is a custard I can assume that it is perhaps equivalent to 6 large egg yolks in an American recipe. Is that correct?

I am planning to write an article about cooking with kids and would like to know why people think cooking with kids is or isn't beneficial, fun, interesting, etc. What is your opinion?

I notice that lots of members ask for recipes. Why? There are millions of recipes on the internet, in cookbooks, magazines, etc. I understand them asking for ideas or maybe definitions and instructions but not recipes when the options are endless.
