  • Does soft intelligence revealed on a CRB check automatically bar you from a job?

So I deliberately broke a plate on the ground during an argument with my parents. The police said that they would have to do up a report on this incident, even though I was not cautioned or warned or prosecuted. No action was taken I understand that this is 'soft intelligence'. So now I'm thinking this might affect my chances of getting a job if it requires a CRB enhanced disclosure. Does any little mark, like breaking a plate, count against you, like would an employed not even consider you for a job if you have the slightest stain? And if so, how is that fair because you have not actually be convicted of any crime yet it is being held against you? It's ridiculous, you break one plate and you are considered to be a potential psychopath with violent tendencies? Is it really like that?

  • With a CRB check, is everything revealed?

With an enhanced disclousure, what kind of stuff is revealed?

I broke a plate on the ground during a row with my parents. They called the police and they claimed it was criminal damage. I aid don't be silly I will buy a new plate. I was not warned, cautioned, or prosecuted. But will this 'soft intelligence' show up in an enhanced or other disclosure and can this affect my ability to get a job in the future?

  • My mom is a b-tch and likes to emasculate me?

I live at home with parents. I am of the age I should have my own place but due to unemployment I can't move out though that could change in the next few months. Anyway, my psychiatrist said that my mother had a hatred of men and that is why she treats me so bad - she often mocks my masculinity and demeans me and denigrates me, calling me names and bossing me around etc... It's like she hates my masculinity and she loves it when I am submissive to her, but when I realised how I'd been brought up and how I'd always been mummy's little pet, me being the youngest, everything seemed to be OK but try to break out of that and all hell breaks loose. My shrink said I met an emotional need for my mother, but as I grew up it pained her cos she needn't me to be small and needy. That brings us to today. I have her sussed out, and I can't stand to be in her presence she is such a mean and nasty piece of work. How do you live with somebody you cannot stand, and I do mean she is intolerable. My father is precious little better. He is another kettle of fish and not a very nice kettle at that.

  • Morning wood - how hard should it be?

Should it be as strong as an erection which occurs due to sexual arousal during the day, or is it OK if morning wood is not as hard as that? In my case, with morning wood, the penile shaft is hard, but not so much the head. In any case, it is not as hard as an erection due to sexual arousal. What is healthy and normal?

  • calcium supplementation - daily dosage?

    On a supplement it says:

    Four tablets provide

    Ingredient Content

Calcium (as dicalcium malate, citrate, bisglycinate) 1000mg

Magnesium (as dimagnesium malate, citrate, bisglycinate) 500mg

Vitamin K2 (as menaquinone-7) (contains milk and soy) 65mcg

Boron (as sodium borate, citric acid) 2mg

    Zinc (as bisglycinate) 5mg

    Manganese (as bisglycinate) 2mg

    Copper (as bisglycinate) 500mcg

    Vitamin D (1000iu, as D3 prep.) 25mcg

So does that mean it contains 1000mg of bioavailable calcium, or is that the raw calcium compound of 1000mg from which a smaller bioavailable amount would be obtained?

    The product is here: http://www.bodykind.com/product/3412_3-Solgar-Ulti...

It is not clear to me what the calcium amount actually means.

  • Are natural calcium supplements as effective as doctor prescribed ones?

I was given Calcichew D3 because I have osteopenia. However, it contains aspartame, so I wanted to try a natural alternative. So now I am taking a sea calcium supplement made with calcium rich seaweed extract, and a separate vitamin D3 supplement of the same kind of Vitamin D as found in the Calcichew. I am taking these supplements at the same dosage as would be found in the 2 Calcichew tablets that I had been prescribed previously.

My question is, are the natural products I am taking as effective as the Calcichew on a long term basis?

  • UK Dark chocolate brand which hasn't been Dutch-processed?

So 'Dutching' removes or destroys most of the flavenoids. I want to eat some dark chocolcate for its health benefits. Does anyone know of a brand which does not utilise 'Dutching' and which is on sale in UK? Green & Blacks employs dutching, so its no good.

  • My back hurts after dumbbell workout?

I just do some exercises for my chest, shoulders, and arms, but my back hurts. I am wondering why. I am thinking that perhaps I am neglecting my back or my chest and maybe it is causing some kind of imbalance or something. Any ideas why my back hurts? The exercises I have done entail keeping my back straight. What sort of warm-ups might help and why do you think my back hurts?

  • How muscly can you get with just a set of dumbbells?

I have a set of 20kg dumbbells (10kg each) and some extra weights which I can use in future out in the garage.

I'm just wondering what I can achieve with these, and if I can get defined pecs. I do not have a bench or anything. I can't afford to go to a gym or buy more equipment.

Also, what are a really good range of exercises to do? If you can link to any really good videos or diagrams, I will make yours the best answer!

  • how come I can't grow sideburns?

I'm 30, I can grow a reasonable good beard, but the hair in my sideburn area is a joke. just a few hairs and not very thick. How come I can't grow sideburns? My three brothers can. I am the youngest in the family of 5 so maybe that has something to do with it? I had my testosterone level checked a couple years ago and it was at a healthy, normal level. Is there something wrong with me? It gets a little irksome seeing 14 year old boys with sideburns, and me, now 30, still can't grow them... What gives?

PS I eat a healthy diet, exercise, work out, take fish oil and a men's multi-vitamin/mineral, and still this makes no difference.

  • I'm 30 year old guy no girlfriend?

So i am 30 though lots of people say i look much younger, like 22. So any way i had some mental health issues growing up and was bullied at school. Long story but basically only now aged 30 are things starting to come together. But i want to know if it is very unusual for a 30 yr old guy never to have had a gf and never even kissed a girl? I'm catholic and so this makes it more challebging as i'd like a girl who shares my beliefs. I feel just like time is quickly slipping away and before i know it i'm 40 and nothing has changed.

  • How do you stretch properly for exercise?

I do a routine with dumbbells every other day, and I take a brisk walk for about 45 minutes each day.

How do I stretch properly before and after each activity? And how do you warm up properly?

I'd like some really good Youtube videos so I can see how it is done.

I don't like stretching and can hardly be bothered to do it, but somebody told me it was actually important and so I want to learn how to do it properly. Reading about it is no good to me - I need to see how to do it.

  • my penis gets numb sitting using the laptop?

I sit on a comfy chair. I have the laptop resitng on the arm of the armchair. I get a numb penis. One time I got up after bieng on a good while, and my penis was quite numb. Now I realise it is not a good thing, so every so often, I get up, and I run up and down the stairs to help blood flow.

Is it normal to get a numb penis whilst sitting for a prolonged period on the laptop? My laptop is not usually sitting on my lap as such. I try to rest it on the arm of the chair.

Is it dangerous or harmful? Is it a sign of some potential underlying problem?

  • penis is two different colours?

My penis is two different colours. The half near the tip is slightly darker than my body skin tone (I am white Caucasian) whilst, on the other side of the perineal raphe (itself a reassuring brown colour), the lower half of the penis is like a baby fleshy pink colour. The scrotum is a kind of pink colour. Since penis and scrotum colour is darkened by good testosterone levels leading to melatonin levels and darker skin, would the fact that half my penis is a pink fleshy colour indicate that I may have low testosterone? What should I do and is this cause for concern?

  • Can eating at night cause diabetes?

We know that lack of sleep can predispose for diabetes*, but I was wondering if eating at night can have a similar effect?

    * For the details, see this story from the UK's Daily Mail: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=lack%20of...

''People who sleep fewer than six hours a night are at greater risk of blood sugar problems that lead to diabetes, researchers say.''
