Where did you get your wedding invitations?
Just curious where others have ordered their invitations, especially a website. I have visited a TON of sites, and it seems that they all have the same things, although I am going for the timeless, classic look. And I want them printed professionally - I like the raised ink. Plus I don't have time for a DIY project, like doing them myself. Thanks!
9 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoBridesmaid's gifts...Give me your opinion please?
I'm trying to pick out bridesmaids gifts. I have 8 girls, ages 24-27. All but 2 are married (most w/in the past 2 yrs), and the other 2 have their own apartments. I'm trying to think outside the box and beyond makeup pouches, jewelry boxes, and wedding day pearls. I found these personalized cookbook stands, and thought doing them w/ a local cookbook, since all but 1 live at least 2 hrs away. Would do you think? I also considered doing the cookbook stand/apron or apron/cookbook combo. An apron w/ their name monogrammed to say: Jessica's Kitchen or just Jessica.
Or if you have another different idea, feel free to share. Thanks in advance. Best answer will be picked.
12 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWedding Flowers for Past/Present Brides?
If you had or will have a florist do your flowers, what was/is your budget or what did you get for your money? Just trying to get an idea of what others have spent on their florist.
I'm in shock that flowers are so expensive!
Thanks in advance! (Will award best answer for 10 points)
13 AnswersEngagements & Weddings1 decade agoHas anyone purchased from Marilyn's Keepsakes? (particularly the bath wraps)?
I was wondering what the quality was like? How was the monogramming? I haven't seen any reviews online of their products. I was thinking of this for bridesmaids gifts. What do you think? Thanks in advance!
1 AnswerWeddings1 decade agoWedding Cake Table Background Ideas....?
Our reception hall has plain light yellow walls, and we want our wedding cake to be the focal point. Our wedding planer suggested putting it in the center of the room under an arch covered in a real pretty vine, white a few white flowers on the top of the arch. (at the ceremony we are using white flowers w/ green accents)
I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions or have seen different things that sticks out in your mind, like creating a fabric or wood backdrop, or something.
Our colors are black, sage/kiwi, and white. And the room will be dimly lighted w/ a few chandeliers on and some uplights along the walls. It's a night reception. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
