  • 25 amp breaker for two 750 watts each electric baseboard heaters?

I bought two 750 watts 3.1 amps (each) electric baseboard heaters that run @ 240v

I have a 25 amp breaker laying around and a slot on my box where I can fit it.

My question is can I do this? What Gague wire should I use 12 or 14? I'm thinking the entire length from the box to the thermostat/ heaters will be around 40 feets. I just don't know if this is two much power or what not. Please explain Barney style.

    Thank You

  • Subs won't power for a lil while. Is battery getting weak?

So I have a 2010 c300 with a nice aftermarket System. The amp powering my subs is a JL 1000/1 v2. I've had the system for over a year. Normally if the battery is low the amp shuts off for a while. Now the past week I been getting in my car and fire up the car and the subs dont run. I live about 15 miles from my Job. Towards the end of my commute the subs begin to rock.

My car starts with no issues at all. All my goodies in the car also start with no

Issues. The battery on my car is the OEM battery that came with the car. Is it

Time to replace the battery already is there something else that could be going on?

  • is the basement too cold for my dogs?

i have a 2 year old yorkie terrier and a 7 month boxer.

Basement temp as of right now is 60 degrees. 12/24/2011 PA Winter

The basement does not have heat vents. The dogs have always loved the basement but now with the winter here I'm starting to wonder if its too cold for them. They usually sleep upstairs with us.

We just woke up today at 2:54 am because there was poop all over the bed and on my wife LOL (Thats a different story: dogs had too many bones, i told my wife not to give them all them bones too lol)

anyways after she took a shower and i took off all the bedsheets and covers of course she sent them straight into their kennel in the basement. WE DONT KNOW WHICH DOG DID IT.

MORAL OF THE STORY i checked the basement thermometer and it read 60 degrees. I used a bed cover and covered the kennel and placed a tiny space heater to blow warm air into them. But i don't want to overheat them either. the heat is not intense but i just want to cover all the basics.

BACK TO THE QUESTION, WHAT TEMPERATURE IS TOO COLD FOR THE DOGS TO BE IN WHILE WE ARE IN BED AND WHEN WE GO OUT? DOGS DO GO IN THE BASEMENT WHEN WE GO OUT.

    THANKS

Compare the cells of a woman's leg muscle to the cells of a baby growing inside her womb. What is the most important difference between them?

A The cells of the woman's leg muscle have differentiated. The cells of the baby have not.

B The cells of the woman's leg muscle are not dividing. The cells of the baby are dividing.

C The cells of the woman's leg muscle are less important than the cells of the baby.

D The cells of the woman's leg muscle are diploid. The cells of the baby are haploid.

E The chromosomes in the cells of the woman's leg muscle are genetically identical to the rest of her body. The baby's cells . contain only half of the mother's chromosomes.

F The cells of the woman's leg muscle are larger than the cells of the baby.

  • engine oil was empty. had one synthetic oil bottle in trunk. but we normally use regular oil. do i fill it syn?

my wife drives our 2002 jetta. i believe its the gls.

wife is out shopping and on her way home called me and told me that the oil light went on but then went off. as we were on the phone it went on again so i told her to pull over and check the oil. She said it was all empty. We normally use regular oil on the car but for some reason my wife had a synthetic oil bottle in the trunk so she used it. I'm on my way to meet her at a restaurant and i will stop by autozone to get the rest of the oil to fill it up. Should i just buy more synthetic oil to fully fill it up ? or will it have to be drain to use regular oil.

Few months back when i drove the car it leaked oil but it was little by little. a month or two ago my wife's friend replaced the oil pan sealant (this vehicle does not use a gasket) so I don't know if maybe he did it wrong or maybe the oil is just leaking from somewhere else.

i will be taking my car to have this professionally installed. in the last quote they gave me they were planning on using one set of 500 watts monster amp kit to give it power, but i was also getting at JL Audio 500/1 v/2 which i replaced with the JL 1000/1 v2 cause i bought it for only $460.00

anyways im just trying to think ahead.

is this setup going to be too much power on my car battery?

what gauge wire should be used to this setup?

will i need an extra battery? i was looking at crutchfield and they got this real small car batteryies http://www.crutchfield.com/p_122D375/XS-Power-D375...

my last question is do i need a capacitor? if so how big? i've read online and many people say capacitors are just useless and its just a waste of money. I just dont know period.

I dont plan on buying one but i do have one on my older car system which im pulling out regardless. Im not sure if its a .5 or 1 farad.
