1 AnswerHomework Help7 months agoMy husband and I are looking to buy a house. My problem is that he wants his mother to live with us.?
His mother is not disabled in anyway and is well capable of taking care of herself. She does lives in her own home and last year she lost her pet companion, and just recently my husband bought her a puppy which she has begun to bond with, but the puppy does not live with her it lives with us. (Still trying to figure out why it lives with us if he bought it for her!)
My husband is a long distance truck driver, which means he is not home until the weekends which leaves him no time to train this puppy nor will he pay to have her professionally trained. His claim is that he can not afford to pay for the training. The puppy is tearing our apartment all to pieces, chewing furniture, chewing blinds, pooping & peeing all over the place walking on the sofa's and jumping on the tables & counters. He makes me out to be the bad guy because I strongly voice my feelings concerning this. I was in agreement that he take a chunk of our income to purchase the puppy for his mother, yet he is paying all of the vet bills, and all that it takes in caring for the puppy.. I never agreed to taking on the brunt and responsibility of the care for it. He just assumes that, since I am here and it's like my duty to do so. So, I have been doing it and it is just taking a toll on me. He does not want the pup locked up during the day while I am at work. So I daily come home to a disasterous house and just cry. How do I convey to him that this is not working for me. I don't think I can live with pup & mom at the same time, I don't want to choose one over the other. Am I bad for not wanting to have either of them live with us when we buy the house? :`(

9 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoShould you accept gifts from people when you know they are not heartfelt?
If you know someone does not like you, and they give you something let's just say a gift for your birthday, or because you had a baby, wedding etc, or if they throw a celebration for you for whatever. You know it is not heartfelt and they just did it because people told them that they should do this for you because of the position they are in. Do you accept these gifts? Not show up for these phony people parties? Pretending to appreciate you when YOU KNOW that they really don't?
