The four kittens are 4 weeks old and the mother cat just all the sudden was gone two days ago...unfort. we think something bad happened to her since she's never missed a meal. So now we have 4 kittens to raise and we have been feeding them canned kitten food but my mother-in-law says that gives them worms bad and not to give it to them. Is this true?

Also what can I do to get rid of their fleas? They are so young still I don't want to hurt them with a chemical spray or shampoo.

They are playful and using the bathroom well I am just worried about the fleas and now if canned kitten food is what i should be using...if not then what can i feed these babies?

Mom cat left 2 days ago and we haven't seen her since. The kittens have cried all night and we were thinking she would come back home but she never returned so now we are feeding the 4 lil ones. I raised the mom cat myself...she was abandoned and i raised her from 1 week old...bottle fed her and everything. 1 kitten to raise was a lot easier then 4 though and they cry all the time! Like non-stop! Are they too old to bottle feed? I have been feeding them wet cat food and they eat it up...that's the only time they are actually not crying. I think they miss their mom. Please someone give me some advice to raise these poor babies!
