I am currently in college for my AA degree with the goal of eventually getting my bachelors in education and become a teacher. I can take mathematics for liberal arts to complete my AA but I was wondering if it is worth it? Presumably it is an easier class but will i eventually have to take college algebra to get my bachelors in education? I know every school is different but please share your experience if you know anything.

So I bought some asparagus and didn't get around to using it before I left for the weekend. I read that I should've blanched it before freezing it but I ran out of time and just stuck it in the freezer so it wouldn't go bad before I came home. Will the texture be really weird if I just boil it now? Is there a way to cook it to make it ok?

Hello, I was following a recipe to make cinnamon rolls, the recipe told me to scald milk and oil, then sprinkle yeast on top and add flour, after letting it sit for an hour I was supposed to add a little more flour, plus baking soda and salt. So I fell asleep before I added the extra flour and baking soda and its been about 6 hours now.... is the recipe ruined? do I need to start over or can i just add the other stuff now and carry on with the recipe? THanks

What is an easy way to determine start up amps on a refrigerator compressor and how long the compressor runs at start up amps?

I am starting an energy auditing/consulting business. We do commercial audits for business, as well as provide consultations and offer energy saving products.

All of the real good names I came up with are already in use. Right now I am thinking of First Step Energy Solutions, but I don't know if it is good or not. What do you think?

Any ideas? I want my slogan to be something like, 'take control of your energy consumption', and the benefits are saving money and going 'green'

I am looking to invest in a certain company, but before I do I want to get a feel for the market in my area.

I have created a survey for business owners/heads to fill out to see if they would be interested in the products I would be offering. Does anyone know what the best way to go about getting these surveys completed and returned to me would be?

Should I just go up to the business in person? If the owner is not there should I leave the survey with a pre-marked envelope and hope that they fill it out and return it to me?

Should I find our there numbers and try to do it over the phone?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

I am about to open up a second hand/ consignment shop with a small coffee bar inside.

I want to call it something like .........'s Bazaar and coffee bar.

My name is Sasha, but I don't know if I want that to be in the name because a lot of people have trouble with my name already.

My store will sell good quality second hand clothes and other items, as well as art, handmade crafts, jewelry, books etc.

Also part of my profits will be donated to eco friendly causes and I want to use the environment card to attract consignors and buyers.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

I had a really weird dream last night, I was in a house with some of my friends and my boyfriend. My friend 'Mark' kept telling me I needed to leave. Then at one point it was only me and him in the house, everyone else was outside. He kept telling me to leave, so i asked him why, and he pulls out a gun and said something like 'because I've been itching to shoot you right in the head.' I freak out and try to run out the back door where everyone else is but he pulls a couch in front of me to block me from leaving. I was screaming and my boyfriend heard me and came and got me out of the house.....

Does anyone have a clue what this is about? I rarely remember my dreams, and I almost never have scary dreams and the past couple nights I've been having really vivid, weird dreams.....

I'm starting a blog, to encourage people to start caring about our planet and our future. I'm really bad at coming up with names... I want it to be something like, Our Home, Our Future, Our Responsibility..... but not as lame and lengthy..... any ideas?

I had some issues paying my car insurance and it was cancelled. I called by ins company today to renew it. They told me they couldn't renew my policy but they have a buddy company that can give me an insurance policy. So they get all my info and they quoted me 730 dollars a month!

I understand I have bad driving history and I let my insurance get cancelled, but that doesn't seem right at all, I was paying 100 dollars a month before. That doesn't even seem like a real number to charge someone for car insurance, it's more than I pay for rent!

I recently registered on sparkpeople.com which is a website where you can put in the food you eat and it tracks it for you. I always thought I ate alot, I am hypoglycemic so I eat constantly throughout the day, but when I track my food I'm only averaging about 1000 -1200 calories a day. It also tracks protein and other vitamins/nutrients and I am coming up low in most of these categories, except potassuim and vit C because I eat a lot of fruit. Now I know that protein is important and I am looking into switching some of my carbs out for more protein, but should I really be eating more? I don't starve myself and I am not underweight, I eat when I get hungry and stop when I'm full, but I also don't want to have any deficiencies, and i don't like the idea of taking lots of vitamins everyday, but the meal plans they suggest just seem like so much food.

Any suggestions? Should I be eating more? I don't want to gain weight either.....

I want to make a simple potato salad with quinoa.

I usually make potato salad with vegan mayo, vinegar, spices and vegetables... do you think it would be weird with quinoa? Also, what vegetables would go good with it?

My 1 year old APBT licks incessantly, she will come up and just start licking a certain part of me, like my foot or my hand (especially when I'm on the computer) or even my face if she can reach it (like when I'm sleeping) but once she starts she will lick and lick and lick unless I pet her constantly, (and she has a big slobbery tongue) if i stop petting, she starts licking again, and if I don't give in she will keep licking forever. (seriously, I tried to see how long she would do it and she never quit)

I think she just does it for attention, but I don't know how to make her stop because I don't want her to think that licking is bad, i just don't want her to do it all the time.

Any advice is appreciated.
