My iPad turns off whenever I'm looking through my pictures?
I have about 490 pictures on my iPad and whenever I'm going through them the screen goes black. Why is this happening and how can I stop it from doing that?

1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoCan anyone translate this song? (it's in German)?
I'm guessing it's kind of an old song. I just found it on the internet.
Ja, auf dem Donaustrom schnell
schwimm ich dir davon.
Wart' nur, Liebe,
wenn ich dich im Strom erwische,
meine Angelrute
fängt mir alle Fische.
Mach ich mich zum Täubchen,
um davon zu fliegen
unter blauem Himmel,
wirst mich nimmer kriegen.
Und ich halt' zu Hause
einen wilden Raben,
der wird alle Tauben
sicher mir erjagen.
Hurtig als große Kräh
flieh ich aus Deiner Näh,
fort zum fremden Strande
dort im Ungarlande.
Meine große Armbrust
wird dich nimmer feheln.
Ja, sie holt herab mir
aller Krähen Seelen.
Dann will ich ein Sternlein
hoch am Himmel werden,
will den Menschenleuchten
mild und hell auf Erden.
Und bei Sternendeutern
will ich fleißig lernen,
wird dich dort entdecken unter allen Sternen.
Sollst doch mein Eigen sein.
Gott wird's fügen, daß Du ewig, ewig mein.
BTW, don't use Google Translate please. I already tried that, and it didn't give me a very good translation.
1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoIs William Mosely in that "Stand up to cancer" commercial?
He's the one who kneels when they say "1 in 2 men". It kind of looks like him, but I wasn't sure because his hair is different than I remember.
Here's the video:

4 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoWhat's wrong with my cat?
She has recently gotten a weird twitch in her neck, and she has been biting people, even though she doesn't usually. She's an indoor cat, though, so she probably didn't catch some kind of outside disease.
5 AnswersCats1 decade agoHow can I improve my French pronunciation?
I can read French fairly decently, but when it comes to speaking it...I'm a mess. I don't have the time or money to actually travel to France, so how can I make myself better at my pronunciation?

4 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoI have a weird bug bite?
I have a some kind of bug bite on my leg. I felt like almost a stabbing pain, and when I looked at it later, it was this red bump. It stings a little, too. It doesn't look or feel like a mosquito bite, and I haven't been scratching it or anything, so I don't really know what it is.

1 AnswerCelebrities1 decade agoHow do you translate a rhyming poem?
Because if two words rhyme in English, they're not very likely to rhyme in a different language. Do translators have to write a new version of the poem using synonyms that rhyme in the language it's being translated to? Or do they just translate it as it is, without bothering to make it rhyme?
