I am tired of people talking about Los Angeles?

I email my Vietnam buddy every few weeks. He lives in a small town in Pennsylvania. This winter has been very bad. He sent me this youtube video. I think we should answer/share all the “hell Los Angeles” people with this video. It would save us time and writing. What do you think?

I was in the garden section. I clicked on a question asking to identify this (web site attached) flower. Immediately after clicking the attached web site, my Norton Antivirus flashed a message warning, “This site is unsafe…with the name of a virus code within message”. I would hate for anyone else to get this virus. How do I report this question to Yahoo Answers or warn someone else of this question?

I guess times are a changing. I just got back from Pechanga Resort & Casino. It is the largest Indian casino in California. I stopped by the crap table. I WAS SHOCKED. They do not shoot dice. The house man pulls one card from two difference shoes. Each shoe has 16 decks of cards. All the cards from seven and above are removed. Everything else is the same. The bets are the same. The table is the same.

If he pulls a six and a four. The point is ten. If he pulls a Ace and a six, you crap out or winner seven. They call it Pechanga Craps.

The same is true about roulette. There is no ball on the roulette wheel. The roulette wheel is just like the wheel on the tv game show "Wheel of Fortune". The wheel has printed cards with numbers from 1 to 38. The table is the same. They call it "Mystery Card Roulette". Click on table games in the web site below.

I know Las Vegas is still throwing dice and playing normal roulette. My question: Does anyone know if this is happening in other casinos in other states? Just curious. I want to keep up with the times.

I would like to know how do I post a long web site address within my answer to a question. Example: I try to put http:// xxxxx etc. with over 40 characters. The characters will turn blue, but yahoo answers will drop characters off the web address when I submit my answer. If I click on the web site address, the web site will not pop up. Is there a way to put up more characters, or is Yahoo Answers limited to under 30 characters?

My wife got me this Sony Model:DSCW230 digital camera. She said the salesperson told her this thing is very simple to operate. That was two weeks ago. All I have been able to do is register the serial # on line. I have an old 35mm camera which works great. This new camera is killing me. I cannot figure it out to save my life. I have read the instructions over and over. I am ready to take it back. Are all these digital cameras this difficult, is it just this Sony camera, is it the way the instructions are written, or is it just me? Thanks to anyone who knows.

A Thank You to Vietnam Vets from a Marine in Iraq .

A guy gets time to think over here and I was thinking about all the support we get from home. Sometimes it's overwhelming. We get care packages at times faster than we can use them. There are boxes and boxes of toiletries and snacks lining the center of every tent; the generosity has been amazing. So, I was pondering the question: "Why do we have so much support?"

In my opinion, it came down to one thing: Vietnam . I think we learned a lesson, as a nation, that no matter what, you have to support the troops who are on the line, who are risking everything. We treated them so poorly back then. When they returned was even worse. The stories are nightmarish of what our returning warriors were subjected to. It is a national scar, a blemish on our country, an embarrassment to all of us. After Vietnam , it had time to sink in. The guilt in our collective consciousness grew. It shamed us. However, we learned from our mistake.

Somewhere during the late 1970's and into the 80's, we realized that we can't treat our warriors that way. So, starting during the Gulf War, when the first real opportunity arose to stand up and support the troops, we did. We did it to support our friends and family going off to war. But we also did it to right the wrongs from the Vietnam era. We treated our troops like the heroes they were, acknowledged and celebrated their sacrifice, and rejoiced at their homecoming instead of spitting on them.

And that support continues today for those of us in Iraq . Our country knows that it must support us and it does. The lesson was learned in Vietnam and we are better because of it. Everyone who has gone before is a hero. They are celebrated in my heart. I think admirably of all those who have gone before me. From those who fought to establish this country in the late 1770's to those I serve with here in Iraq . They have all sacrificed to ensure our freedom.

But when I get back, I'm going to make it a personal mission to specifically thank every Vietnam Vet I encounter for their sacrifice. Because if nothing else good came from that terrible war, one thing did. It was the lesson learned on how we treat our warriors. We as a country learned from our mistake and now treat our warriors as heroes, as we should.

I am the beneficiary of their sacrifice. Not only for the freedom they, like veterans from other wars, ensured, but for how well our country now treats my fellow Marines and I. We are the beneficiaries of their sacrifice.

I have a bet with my friend. I bet him that no one on Yahoo answers is a street wise gambler. He disagrees. The bet: What would a gambler mean (you must explain to win) by "SAVE THE BAR" or "ON THE BAR", and what gambling game would you be playing?

I PUT ON NEW SHOCKS. BUT EVERYTIME I HIT A POTHOLE, THE CAR HITS LIKE A TWO TON TRUCK WITH NO BOUNCE. DO I NEED BETTER SHOCKS OR IS THIS SOMETHING ELSE ??
