Banning handguns was deemed unconstitutional twice in 10 years by the supreme court.

We have had multiple mass shootings with handguns, only a handfull with rifles of any kind.

A ban on assault rifles now would leave us with the same gun crime stats for decades.

Drunk uncle Joe say I don't need any gun that looks like a soldiers gun because I don't "need" one. I didn't realize that we can write laws based on what other people think the public needs. For example, no one needs vodka, cigarettes or jet-skis so we should ban those based on a practical need... agree/ disagree and why?

I can't get around the fact that Mitt Romney is a Mormon. I think it would be internationally embarassing to have a Mormon president. I could even see the Wahabist Saudi's giggling about Romney's magic underwear. Your thoughts?

I think there comes to be a point in time where it is no longer necessary or productive to ignore a candidates religious ideologies. As an atheist, I see all religion as a bit childish and silly, but even believers must agree that Mormons are a form of fanatics. Their religion is based on wild and incoherent claims that just simply should be rejected by any reasonable person. Do we really have to be polite about this nonsense? Your thoughts?

I think the fact the Mitt Romney is a mormon has real validity. I did quite a bit of research on world religions in college and I state, with full conviction, that Mormons are freaking bananas. I have a certain degree of respect for some religions, but space-Jesus, galactic polygamy and magic underwear is where I have to draw the line. How is it affecting your vote?
