I feel like this is a myth because I know plenty of good guitar players who can sing as well and no girls ever seem attracted by it.

I'm a guitar player and my friend is a piano player. We are both baritones and we'd like some song suggestions for a gig we have at a wine-bar. It's a somewhat relaxed atmosphere so we were thinking stuff like Billy Joel and some Mumford and Sons but we need more material. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

I'm a singer/guitar player and I have plenty of friends who also play "cool" instruments. It sure seems like it's very true that playing an instrument gets you the ladies. And yes I know you have to be good blah blah blah. None of us suck. We've all performed individually and been successful with it.

I am debating whether I want to become a Marine or not and I'm currently writing an essay about becoming one. I've been researching it but I'm still confused about all of the training you go through. So would anyone be kind enough to fully explain all of the training you go through to become both an enlisted marine and an officer?

I love this song because it just makes me feel better about myself. Does anyone know any other like it lyrically? I know Loser by 3 Doors Down and Imagination by Evanescence are both similar.

I love music and I am religous so I really like christian music, but I don't like how the lyrics are in your face christian if you know what I mean. I like it when I here a christian song and it takes me a little bit to realize it's christian. So if anyone knows a christian band that has lyrics like this I'd love to know who they are.

By the way you should check out Ryan Corn. He's a christian rock artist who has lyrics like I described.

So me and my friends want to do 5-7 songs at our homecoming next year and then let the DJ do the rest. We aren't really into Pop and we want to play stuff that we like, but also everyone else will like.

So it's very cliche that girls adore guys who play. I have been playing for 4 years now and it hasn't gotten me a girl yet. And before you think that I must completely suck at guitar, I don't. I'm a good player, even girls have been impressed with my playing, but how come they don't find it attractive?
