in the fifth book, when they have the first DA meeting in the hogs head and mundungus overhears and tells sirius and stuff, and then harry ron and hermione are talking to sirius about the DA in the fireplace of the dormitary, sirius tells hermione that it would have been smarter to have it in the three broomsticks cause its would be harder for someone to overhear right? well that very next chapter, it says that they were talking about in in charms because of with all the fun the other students were having, no one would listen to them.

they knew that talking in a loud place like charms class would allow them to talk about secret things but they didnt apply that to the DA. and the charms class isnt even awhile after their talk with sirius, its the next page!

kinda funny, huh? i thought it was.

for example, you might not like harry potter specificly, but maybe you just prefure a story that has almost no realisticness in it

so i have this character in my one story who's the villian and forces the hero to steal for him (link to question w/ more info: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoSJz... so anyways, i need a last name for him, its gotta be a name that you could easily call him like a first name and evil sounding. my original name was Slade, but i dont know. then i got the idea for making it an anagram or just sounding like Lucifer (the devil), so if it sounds cool i'd use that.

also, in another story, my main character's name is Ryu. im not sure, but is it pronounced rye-you or something weird?

i asked one simple question about harry potter and Christmas and i get my head ripped off by pagans about how us Christians are fakes! and i see this kind of stuff all the time, "thats cause your religion is stupid" and "how can someone believe in something dumb like that?" i dont care what religion you are, everyone should be kind and tolerant of another's religion. and im not just siding with Christians here, some of us are just as mean as others. being mean doesnt help. because of the pagans that attacked me on my other question, i've got this bad picture of pagans!

if your strong about your religion, and i'll respect you for that no matter what you are, your supposed to try and convert others, not scare them away.

so how come wizards celebrate Christmas and Easter? i mean, they do magic and stuff, so why would they have the Birth of Christ and the Death of Christ as a major holiday??? why do any non-Christians celetrate Christmas and Easter for that matter? some of my friends do just because its a reason for celebrating but still...

so u know how the four pevensies (peter susan edmund lucy) all sybolize things from christian teachings? for example: susan is the one who lost faith and (as far as we know) wont go to Heaven, edmund is the tratior who was forgiven, and lucy is the only on who, i guess you could say, truly believes (in Prince Caspian she was the only one who could see Aslan for awhile). Is peter just "the leader" or does he have a deeper meaning?

so im witing this story about a teenage boy (14, maybe 15 years old) who lives on the street in a city with some friends but they live alright because they work and go to the soup kitchen place. but the boy is captured by this villian guy who beats him and forces him to steal things for him. the boy also finds out later in the story that the villian is his father (i know, the father thing is cliche, but whatever)

1.) what should the boy's name be? nothing eccentric, just a normal boys name

2.) name for the villian. it could be his first name but i think it would be better if everyone called him by his last name. much more dramatic when the boys realizes that his last name is the name he hates the most.

3.) i need a way for the villian to force the boy to stay. like blackmailing him. if the boy doesnt do what hes told, he'll hurt his friends somehow or something.
