  • On an income statement, do you enter shipping charges paid by the customer as income, and then an expense?

    I am wondering if I should put a line on my income statement for "shipping income" that I receive on my sales. And then have a line under expenses for my "shipping expenses," as in the actual cost to ship the item, and then another expense line for "shipping supplies."

    If not, then how else do I show any difference in the amount of shipping collected from the customer and the actual amount (bigger or smaller) that I pay for shipping the item? (On the income statement.)

  • Does cooking with a microwave really harm your body more than oven or stove cooking?

    I understand that cooking food takes away valuable vitamins and nutrients, but am wondering if microwaves used to cook food cause the body MORE harm than just baking with an oven or cooking on the stove.

    Of course 90% of American's use them, but are they safe? Do the microwaves cause molecular change to the food (I heard a story that a woman receiving microwaved warmed blood died from the blood transfusion.)

    Do the EMF(ElectroMagnetic Field) waves constitute a health hazard or cumulitave biological damage to the cells or not? Do they cause brain damage or cancers or not?

    Can anyone give me some proof or evidence in scientific studies that would help?

    I would just like to know the truth about this.
